I somehow managed to read through a large majority of the thread on 2+2 and its apparent China isn't trolling. He even implied the OP and Muhja were full of shit and totally either at best misrepresenting things or outright lying. It really makes China look bad I'm afraid I have to agree.

That was one of the later posts clarifying China's stance after people got on him hard for saying Dentale came off great on the Tuchman broadcast which imo none of them did.

Even David Tuchman who tried to keep a balance of letting people speak and stepping in to tell someone to be quiet so others could make their statements (usually Dentale) didn't do as good of a job as he could in being the captain of the ship because it got out of control. The podcast was a few painful hours of my life I wish I could have back but to be fair I chose to listen to it so that is on me.

Dentale came off as a semi-drunk version of Tyde where he's not just completely going off but would interrupt a lot and the other guys were cringing too. Everything that was said by Dentale, Wheeler, and the other guy I forgot his name could have been done in a 20 minute segment not putting everyone through a few hours worth of repetitive babble.

Chinas support is misguided imo but he is entitled to his opinion. I believe 100 percent that dentale knew what he was doing whether drunk or not. Dentale was arrogant enough to believe he would get away with it. The way he acted during and afterwards just supports that he intended to chip dump at the very least that much more.

In poker there can be quite a bit of controversy in many situations because of the complex nature of a lot of things that happen both on the felt and off the felt. But if we take a step back from this incident we can take some positives from the people "involved" it could help the poker "community" and maybe some people in many different ways.

First off, Dentale is made out to be a "villain" in a lot of these threads and it may be true and it may be not true. But people have a right to their opinions and I respect all opinions whether I agree with them or not.

I want to be clear that I do not condone some of the "alleged" behavior that people post about Dentale but one thing I think everyone has to respect the man on is his physical fitness.

Mike seems to always have his "guns" showing at the table and that is a compliment to his work ethic in the gym. It is tough to stay in shape as we get older but this guy seems to be "Forever 27".

I think if players focused more on some of the positive things that Dentale represents such as physical fitness and talking it up at the table vs being a "stoned out mute" then it could help the game of poker grow as a whole tremendously.

Now I'm not one to tell people how they should live their lives but I would think that staying in shape everyone can take a positive out of and being talkative at the table is certainly more positive for the game of poker than going out and getting stoned on every break and being a mute at the table for the duration of a tournament.

Sometimes you have to take a step back and think about how to keep recreational players around and potential sponsorship for yourself and poker as a whole and going out and getting stoned and coming back in smelling like a skunk is not the way to attract sponsors and new players.

Now that I have proofread this post it is off to the gym for Bis and Tris. Suns out means the Guns are coming out!!

Having laboured thru the 2+2 thread,i must agree with you.I don't know anyone involved,just going on popular opinion, and,oh yes the 'Cast appearance did Dentale no favours at all.Just confirmed what folks had alleged about Dentale. What was the end result,is he banned from all F/woods properties as was mentioned a few minutes in, i switched off i was so unimpressed with the guy,i had heard enuf crap and took my dog for his fourth walk o the day instead.
