Jimmy John's Trip Report
DRK entered the line at the Melrose (Maywood Park? IL) Jimmy John's on North ave and 25th at around 11:19. By 11:37, a woman approached me (I was probably 40/45th in line when I got there) and took my order down, and handed me the receipt to hand to the cute girl working one of the two registers. I got my order at 11:45, so it essentially took me 30 minutes from start to finish to pay $1.11 and enjoy this succulent Turkey Tom w/ sprouts (and Tomatoes).
When I left, there were close to 60/70 people in line.
EDIT: Note: Not all JJ's are participating. The Elmwood Park location told people to GTFO, and that they werent doing this for some completely unintelligble reason, according to the pissed off woman in front of me.
My local store not doing it either. Watched 50 plus people walk out due to it
Probably 40-50 people in line when I get there. I got off work at noon, took 5 mins to get to truck, and drive maybe 10 mins there. I cash out at 12:28 and out the door at 12:30 with my sandwiches. They have a literal factory running. One girl cutting bread, another only putting mayo on, etc
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

My problem with Quiznos is most of their subs tasted the same, regardless of toppings/sauces. It was a good option to have once every 6 months when in a bind and wanting something a bit different, but there's no way I would go there regularly.Originally Posted by lewfather

Drove passed 3 locations in about a 3 mile radius. Every line out the door. Would gladly pay full price over standing in line with like 90% of the customers. Anytime a company does promos like this it brings out the worst of the worst.
quiznos is ass. As soon as I saw them bust out a scale to weigh my portion I vowed to never return.
They do it for consistency which I get it more for them weighing the meat but when those pretzel places weigh the dough out it's even more lol.
