The drama of the first hand in the clip is pretty decent. Especially if you want to up your game in reading players in live games.

First, the Druffster gave off a notable tell about why he is calling Costa's flop bet. IME, most of the time when an opponent verbalizes that they are calling one time, they are on a draw that isn't proper for the pot odds. In this case, it was a gut shot. And with 1 of two possible gut shot cards hitting on turn, Druff firmly verbalizes a check. And Costa's stack is not that big. So getting check-raised is a significant risk here.
But Costa ignores his admitted-after-the-fact instincts and bets the turn. Now Danish gives a speech when raising. But Costa rightly has to call even if he mostly believes he's behind.
But when Druffles talkily bets into him after a blank hits the river, and stands up and leans over the table... AND there are 4 cards to a straight on the board!
... Costa still calls after talking it over with a physically confident opponent now trying to appear less intimidating by sitting back down.
And Druff reveals his hand...
And Costa has a waking mini-nightmare about what he did during the hand.

It's a perfect example of how lucky you need to be to win a hand, you need luck in order for your hand to hold up if you're ahead on the flop, and you need luck to have your hand hold up until the river.
Im sure todd thinks it was his witty banter that forced costa to call and not the fact that he started with pocket aces, hit a set of aces on the flop and didn't want to let it go even though there was a four card straight on the board. No im sure he thinks it was his superior play that got costa to call on the river ....lol. The whole clip is hilarious, his assbergers is really showing.

Same with radio, if it sucks so bad why listen? Why try to call in every week? Wouldn't it be easier to just have your own show?

Yes we all know you probably rattled of percentages in your head like rainman man counting a hand full of tooth picks that fell on the floor. Obviously it was a good call by you, none the less, you were way behind pre flop, still behind on the flop, and needed a jack and the board not to pair on the river, so yes you pot bellied bald swaying doofuss, luck plays a significant factor in gambling.
