Definitely worth a fine and maybe some counselling or a course but I find it ridiculous that he is suspended a playoff game.
I don't generally like people using n bombs or homophobic slurs. But at the same time it doesn't offend me.

He was definitely wrong for saying that.
He's one of my favorite players on the Hawks. Kid is amazing when it comes to screening the goalie, and causing hell in the crease. One of the best in the league.
Last night, he was getting hacked, had a guy pile drive his face into the ice, got slashed, got hit in the face 3 times with sticks within 2 seconds while in the crease, got held, etc.
He was likely really pissed that HE was getting the penalty yet none were called on the guys doing shit to him. No excuse though. Maybe this is the Cubs year and not the Hawks, anyway...

He's a scrappy forward for the Blackhawks.
One of the most underrated guys in the league, IMO. He can piss off goalies like no other. He scored by screening the goalie yesterday.

People dont realize the NHL isnt like the NBA were people get T'd up. In the NHL refs take verbal abuse every game way way worse and nothing happens. This is the NHL just staying PC. Nothing else... Bullshit as a Hawks fan.
