nice score. have you checked out 7 mile casino yet? it's a newer card room in chula vista (south SD). they have daily tournaments that are right up your alley (basically turbos with unlimited rebuys for the first hour or so). and the people who play in the tournies are usually fairly decent folks as far as poker degens go and they are also lol terrible at poker. i used to play in the daily tournies all the time when 7 mile was called the village club. highly recommend you giving it a shot if you have time. there's a pretty good chance you'd own it.

Explains only white/$1 chips in all of the visible stacks. Otherwise the dealers would be hounding the floor for racks of $1 chips to have them for dropping the rake (and badbeat jackpot).

Please forgive any typos or bad punctuation which I'm usually religious about but I am going to do this via voice

And we all know how shitty Google voice translation works in general

So last night about 7 o'clock I drove to the casino just looking to buy in with a hundred to try and run it up a little bit. Not looking for any Miracles really. Basically hoping to Triple up or go on a decent run.

I did have a few drinks and to be quite honest I didn't play that well and spewed off 80% of my stack in the first 30 minutes.

Then double up and then double up again and I'm sitting on a measly 80 bucks or so when I pick up pocket Queens....not exact circumstances but close enough

One of the reasons I spewed off my stack prior to that was because I tried to Bluff this 90 year old geezer who was basically a World War 1 veteran and he looked me up

Bottom line is he busted me by straddling with Jack Deuce off suit. This crusty mother fucker Spike's two pair on the river

I'd like to make a disclaimer right now but obviously I do respect our veterans. It was nothing personal at all but I was steaming hard that he called 30 bucks after his straddle with a jack Deuce off suit.

The Flop was Jack 10/8 rainbow and i lead out hard. Long story short he cracks my queens after all the money was in on the turn and spikes a miracle deuce

So I stormed out to my car and literally spent an hour trying to cool off on Mega tilt

I didn't have any cash on me and the only access I had to any more money at the time was via my PayPal business account so I call a client of mine who was overdue for a $395 payment

Just as I'm getting ready to bolt I hear my cell phone ringer and he had paid me the invoice I sent him a few days before after I had called him

So I'm like suweet and head back in to hit up the ATM machine for another hundred

The old codger was long gone at this point and I proceeded to steadily run my stack despite his absence.

Normally when I go on tilt that hard over a shit beat I call it quits. But despite him being a hundred and fifty years old and on the verge of death's door I still wanted to bust his ass and take his pension money

Anyway suddenly I hit a set of 8s and get paid off then hit a flush and get paid off again and then I'm sitting on a pretty big stack

Well in low limit cash games a good stack is everything. I was busting short stacks for the next hour and a half until the following hand came up

I limped in with A6 of diamonds and it was bumped to 12 bucks with 3 callers. Obv I checked in the extra chips to see a flop

The Flop comes out 6 high with two hearts and the original raisers sticks in $20. I'm pretty sure I'm behind but I called anyway thinking I may hit an ace for two pair or Spike another 6

Then we get another two callers behind me

So before the turn even dealt we're looking at just under two hundred bucks in the pot

Then the turn is another diamond. By the way the Flop was like 6 3 deuce I honestly can't remember exactly what the Flop was but it was all low cards and I have top pair top kicker so let's roll

When my nut flush draw comes off on the turn, the original razor leads out for $50 and immediately I lurch back on my chair and say FUCK because I hated the idea of making that call with only one card to go knowing that I needed a diamond and I was way behind

But screw it I grabbed a couple towers of chips and jam them in partly because I was still steaming from our World War 1 veteran who tilted me with Jack Deuce off suit an hour before

I didn't expect it but I got another color behind me for the other 50. So now we're looking at close to a $400 pot with one card to go

River = BINK

I checked of course and the guy to my left leads out for like 60 maybe 70 bucks and the original raiser stuffs it all in

I stand up and literally hold my cards in the air facing away from the table and declare I call. I was literally holding my cards in the air or anyone else in the card room could see them except for the players at my table standing there for at least 10 to 15 seconds

Then the guy to my left literally folded with only about $15 behind because he knew he was completely owned

To make a long story even longer it was a pretty fucking sick River
