I have a similar story.

In early 2007 I was with my then-girlfriend Miri in Reno, for a poker tournament. I didn't travel much for poker tournaments -- or even play many outside of WSOP -- but I did this one for some reason. I came close to cashing in it, but fell a little short. It was a WPT event, I think.
