I don't get heyward at all...

his first few years in the league he was hitting missles all over the place...thought he was going to be the next big power hitter...he's like what 6'5/240? talent is definitely there...just looking at his stats...agree with henry, this is a huge funk...lowest wRC+ in his career by far and lowest hard hit rate of his career...just needs a mental flush...might be pressing because of that big ass contract he signed...

interesting...makes you really wonder if he is pressing then...

you figure he hits 2nd he's gonna get a steady diet of fastballs because no fucking way you want to walk him ahead of Bryant/Rizzo...

gonna be interesting to see how this plays out over the 2nd half of the season...

dude has always been a big guy, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised about anybody being on the juice...

off topic, but what I want insight into is fucking papi...dude is just doing shit that literally nobody should be doing at 40+...I get he doesn't play the field and doesn't play a lot in NL parks so he's fresh, but the fact that he is still raking at his age defies logic...

Pretty much Red Sox vs Cubs in the All Star game.

Give the people what they want.

You got the National League pretty good but overall I'll have to downgrade it from a B+ to a B- grade for picking the AL representative in the WS to finish last in their division.

I was a little nervous about the Dodgers and felt I might be in for a tough 2017. Somehow I had the impression that there was some good activity from the nerd trust over there.

After a quick analysis it looks like we have the same team as last year with the addition of a new 2nd baseman. Lotta fiddling was all.

Therefore, I am posting in the right thread.

Slow unathletic infield and still questions about pitchers who can give you regular season innnings. Interesting depth though.

Still not getting past the Cubs.

Yada, yada playoff variance... that is what small market value thinking has to believe. What other hope is there? Big dollar team with a small market approach.

Red Sox (Dodgers east) had a murderous offense but a questionable rotation. They got themselves a new #1. That's progress.

Last I heard he had unpaid markers and was facing legal action. Also heard that Prince doesn't speak with Cecil but this was all years ago, so who knows?

The Rangers have an insurance policy that's expected to pay half of the remaining $72 million they owe Fielder. The Detroit Tigers are responsible for the other $24 million.

Edit: Hard to feel that bad for the guy when he has 96 milly still coming his way.

There's a lot of things I'd do for 96 million. I'd even consider being best friends with Mumbles and Larry for that much.
