It depends upon the host supervisor reviewing your request for Seven Stars. Some of them rubber stamp it, others scrutinize it, and if they believe you got there "the easy way", they deny you.
If you primarily get there via tier multipliers, there is a good chance they will deny you.
On my other site (vegascasinotalk.com), we discussed a multiplier at the end of the year at Ak-Chin in Arizona. A woman who had like 80k existing tier points from slot play was asking if she'd be approved for Seven Stars, if she took advantage of their big tier multiplier. I said yes, because she put in a lot of -EV slot action to get to 80k, so they don't care that much if she uses the multiplier to get the other 70k.
However, if someone optimally gets there, with relatively little coin-in and only playing the least -EV games, they're going to see you as an advantage player, and deny you. This doesn't always happen, as sometimes the supervisors are asleep at the switch, but it's been a real thing for several years now.
As I said, Seven Stars isn't that exciting anymore. They killed the best benefit -- the guaranteed 5-night free rooms, which you didn't need an offer or a host to book. That benefit kicked ass, especially because it had no blackout dates, and you could book as many as you wanted, as long as 48 hours were in between reservations. Once that got killed, Seven Stars became just a glorified Diamond, for the most part.
I am happy enough being the lowest Diamond. I get the priority lines, I get the priority WSOP registration, I get the room upgrades (though usually not to suites), I get the resort fees removed, and I get some preferential treatment. I'll take it.
I'm scared guys. Is my tier credit going to get applied the way I hope it is? Horseshoe Council Bluffs had a 7x tier credit multiplier this wknd (Made sure it was a tier credit multiplier instead of a reward credit multiplier this time 😂. I grinded 719 tier credits on the Double Double Bonus multi-play machine. In my mind, that means I earned 719x7=5,033 tier credits that day. Since I earned at least 5K in a single day, I get a 10K tier credit bonus, which gets me to Diamond status.
HOWEVER. The tier credits I earned have been applied to my account, the multiplier hasn't been credited yet. Let's say it gets applied on Monday. Will Caesars reason that I earned 719 TC on Friday and 4,314 on Monday? Then, since neither of those days is at least 5K, I don't get the 10K bonus?
Guys, it happened. I got the 7x multiplier, but didn't get the 10K bonus. What do I do now? Was it because these 7x matches dont count towards the 10K bonuses? Or, as I described in my previous post, does the 7x match count on the day it's applied as opposed to the day you earned it? Or the 10K bonus takes an additional day or three to get applied, so I just need to hold tight? Or I need to email them and explain what happened and they will gladly add the 10K?
Hi skyjo,
You’re comment about the 7x credits not applying is correct. So on the day you played you “earned” 719. That is all that counts towards the daily bonus. So you would need to “earn 1000 to get 1000, 2500 to get 5000 and 5000 to get 10000. The extra 4314 are bonus and do not count toward the daily bonuses. I made this mistake my first time getting to diamond too.
Good luck going forward!
Ok. I’m pissed. I was in Vegas last weekend. Diamond Plus members no longer get 4 drink tickets a day! Still getting them in Tahoe though. Literally, my only comps I was offered were free High Roller tix, 50% Donny Osmond, and $40 Miranda Lambert tix lol. I don’t drink much, but always used them for coffee and water. Total BS.
Last January I stopped at a few midwest CZR properties because of this thread. I hadn't played CZR in years but I knew from their online Slot Finder they have slots that develop short term advantages. I wrote about it in posts 194 thru 200 in this thread.
I didn't play much at any of the properties. I was just passing thru on the highway and stopped, played off what I could find, then got back on the road. I found about $800 in expectation but ran well and ended up an $1860 winner between the 3 properties.
So it goes on to April and I get a mailer from CZR. I didn't figure to go anywhere in April so I didn't even open it. So here came another mailer for May. There's a pic of it below. Harrah's North Kansas City offered me 4 two-day packages for May, plus some freeplay and meal comp.
Over a challenge I did some investigating. I went to my CZR online account. I seen that I had run just 584 tier credits between those three joints. That's a $2,920 wager. So here they were, offering me all this room comp based on just a $2900 wager.
So then I checked to see what kind of rates I could get in Las Vegas. I punched in 3 nights, July 2nd, 3rd, 4th at the Horseshoe/Las Vegas. It said the room would be comped, pic below.
That's good but I think the resort fee's are high. So I went to the Wyndam Status Match. I've been Diamond there for a few years and it says so on my Wyndam account. So today I registered for the Diamond status match with CZR. It said it will take up to 2 weeks for it to go into effect. So it looks like those resort fee's are going out the window too.
I don't look for their offers to continue to be this good off so low a wager. They are probably just trying to pull me in then tighten up. But I'll damn sure use whatever they offer if I'm passing by a CZR property.

Good job on the status match, but I believe that only lasts for the present year, and on Feb 1 the following year, it's gone and you can't re-match.
This is unlike the Wyndham Business Earner card where you can repeatedly keep matching.
I'm getting the Wyndam card because of the 5 points per pre-tax dollar spent on Wyndam Hotels. That's a very good deal for a traveler like me. I work the Wyndam Rewards Program for discounted or free rooms. But I never got the Barclay's Wyndam card because I already had a Barclays Choice Privilege card. But Barclay's sold that card to Wells Fargo. So now I have the Wells Fargo Choice card. I'm now waiting on the Barclay's Wyndam. I'll get an initial 40K Wyndam points for $2000 spent in 90 days. My expenses run well more than that so no problem.
When I have to pay for a hotel night I have Choice, Wyndam and Hotels.com apps on my phone. I know how each of their loyalty programs work. So I shop for the best deal on price and quality. You can't just go with the lowest price or you will find yourself in a dump surrounded by crackheads.
I recently spent a few nights on CZR properties with my Diamond Card. And you are right, it expires in Jan 2024. The nights were comped but it was like watching paint dry for getting any +EV machine plays. CZR properties have advantage slots but not in great numbers. And they have the lowest Return To Player of any of the casinos.
I can see getting comped rooms on the Strip could work because I could patrol the surrounding casinos. But just a middle of nowhere CZR casino doesn't do anything for me. No money to be made.

Yeah it's hard to get approved with this awful card. I literally put 20 hours into getting mine. No exaggeration.
You should have put your business income being higher than $1k, but too late for that now.
Try the credit department at (866) 710-2688, between 5am and 5pm, Pacific time. Ask them specifically why you were rejected. If it's because of your $1k business income, tell them you entered the wrong thing, and tell them you thought they meant per week, not per year. But don't say that unless they tell you this was the reason it was rejected. Remind them that your credit is perfect, and you're glad to prove your identity as necessary. Tell them you are fine if the card has a low limit, but at the very least you'd like to get started with it at whatever they'll approve.
It also might be a "security" failure. That's why they denied me, which was really annoying, because there was absolutely no reason for it. I had to jump through a million hoops to prove a million things to them, before they finally issued the card. Nobody could coherently explain to me why there was a security concern in the first place. I didn't have to bullshit about anything to get approved. It was just slow and a huge hassle with a million phone calls, due to their incompetence. If it is security, ask them for the security department phone # and call them.

Made it to Diamond, baby (I saw Todd lament on Twitter a couple weeks ago that the 10x TC promo was going to create a lot of new Diamond members that'll be clogging up priority lines, etc. I guess I'm one of those cloggers. Sorry about that).
Just a heads up on the Horseshoe 100-play machines: There are only 2 now, and they have moved. As recently as March, they were in the location described above (although the count had already reduced from 3 to 2). Now (as of August) the entire video poker section has moved to what I think used to be a high-limit area. It's by the poker room. The poker room is off the corner of the main casino floor... you walk down a small hallway to get to the poker room. All the video poker machines are in a small glassed-off area along the edge of that hallway, near the Laurel Lounge entrance, across from the steak house.
Thanks for the info. I'll update the thread a little later.
Glad you got the Diamond. I just felt the whole thing was bad for the program overall, but I have no issue with those doing what they can to achieve it.
Hell, I got there via a credit card.
Well my Wynham credit card continues to give me matching status to Caesars. I have to pay $100 a year but the poker list line cut makes that worth it in an hour. Not to mention the celebration dinner and Wyndham points which i transfer to Caesars.
And I just noticed I can match to National Rental Car Emerald Elite. Not sure what that gets me. I do not book rental cars from the airline site after getting screwed in New Orleans a couple years ago, so I created a National membership because you just go to the aisle. Now I might be elite, too. Not sure what that means.

The Emerald Elite thing is a great tip. I already have Executive via a credit card, but Elite is better. Here's a description: https://www.nationalcar.com/en/emera.../benefits.html
Regarding Wyndham's Business Earner Card, that is great for getting Diamond for $95/year. Unfortunately it expires every February 1, and sometimes they drag their feet renewing it. I've had to call both Wyndham and Caesars to get them to speed it up on their end. The slowness is usually Wyndham.
