9-6 Jacks or Better $0.25/$0.50/$1 per credit, 8-50 play (minimum $10 per hand, 99.54% return). If you like multiplay machines, this one is for you. Variance is similar to the 3/5 play game listed above. Despite the seemingly cheap $0.25/credit minimum, this machine racks up tier credits QUICKLY. Minimum 8-play ($10/hand), maximum 50-play ($62.50 play) . You can knock out 5000 tiers in about 2 hours. You will find four of these machines, all in the high limit room. Two are upright machines against a wall in kind of the center of the room. The other two are "slant tops" machines where you sit lower, and are located near the high limit cashier's area.

Average loss getting to Seven Stars: $2300

9-6 Jacks or Better 3/5/10 play, $1/$2 per credit (99.54% return). These are also multiplay machines, but fewer hands at a time. There are two of these located in the high limit area against the far wall nearest the walkway. There are five machines which look identical, but only two of them (the second and the fourth) have this paytable. Make sure to verify the 9/6 paytable before playing!

Long time lurker, but I have used this thread to diamond in a day for a awhile; Thanks everyone! Figure I would contribute after my latest trip to Tahoe. I was kind of crunched for time but I spent awhile wandering around trying to find the 9-6 3/5/10 play machines and believe these machines have been moved out of the HL pit and placed in the corner near hotel check-in with worse payouts . The 50 Play machine and 100$ min 9-6 machines still exist but the smaller variance multi play machines appear to be gone.

Interestingly though, there are now two combo machines facing the walkway near where the 3/5/10 play machines used to be that are pretty good for slightly smaller stakes and much lower variance than the 50-play. Both are single hand versions of the Rio/Planet Hollywood 9-5 JoB Double Super Times Pay 7 coin payout 2$ a token, if playing regular Super times Pay JoB its 5$ tokens 5 per game.

After doing some quick napkin math, I ended up playing the 9-6 job 50-play machine in spite of the radically higher variance since since at 14$ a pull for double super times pay even playing at a very fast pace would take something like 5 hours to get the 5000 TCs. If I had more time, next time I might do that approach after re-verifying all the math the multiplier for DSTP is just more fun .

I think Wyndham and Caesars still match each other.

No, this doesn't work unless you "earned" your Wyndham Diamond in some way that wasn't from a status match.

This means you need to have become Wyndham Diamond by either getting their business credit card or by staying the required number of nights at Wyndham properties.

Trying to get to Diamond by the end of the year, tonight I played the Harrah’s Tahoe $2 10 Play Jacks OB in the high limit room (9-6). I was dealt a hearts steel wheel for $5000! I’d a taken a pic but my phone was in the car. Dropped a grand back getting my tier credits up, but still a nice night.

Do you need to do anything special to get the business credit card? I think I read you can put anything for business name and it'll work. Never had Diamond before.. but thinking of getting it through this way, since the $95 annual fee would essentially be reimbursed with the $100 celebration dinner.

The $95 is indeed a great deal. In fact, just two nights of hotel stays would pay for it, due to the resort fees being waived.

Unfortunately, you need a business TIN in order to do it. You can't just invent a business name in your head and put it down, nor can you use a legitimate business you have if it hasn't been assigned a TIN.

They put me through absolute hell to get this card, even though all of the information I put was truthful and accurate. The only reason I tolerated all of this bullshit is because of how beneficial it was to get.

Bad news about the Tahoe market.

They have removed the 99.54% Jacks or Better games, aside from one in the high limit room at $100/credit (way beyond most people's budgets, including me!) This change occurred in early-mid December.

Tahoe is now a mediocre market for video poker. I knew this would eventually happen.

I updated the western US properties, which you can find on page 1.

Most notably, I added the new Reno properties, which have the best games right now to earn Caesars Rewards. Give it a look. Outside of Reno, nothing in the western US is worthwhile playing.

I'll get to the other parts of the US later.

Interesting.. I thought I read somebody saying it was an easy process of getting this card (was thinking from a 2+2 thread). Thanks for letting me know where the hiccup is!

Did they eliminate the 4 drink a day credit for being Diamond plus in Vegas? You could get a voucher if you swiped your rewards card at the rewards kiosk and get a voucher that was worth up to $20 per drink at the bars (except at the Sport Book in Caesars Palace) and even at Starbucks locations. It just seems it may be better just to go Gold at MGM these days. It’s not the same with the Caesars properties anymore since El Dorado took over.

The cheapest 9/6 JoB currently at Harrah’s Tahoe is $1, 5 play. So $25 a hand. They had 5x tier credits (plus 4x rewards credits on a Tuesday) 3 days after Christmas, so it didn’t take me long to get the 10,000 credits to go from Diamond to Diamond plus.

Can you take a picture of this machine and paytable next time you're there?

It was told to me that all 9/6 JoB machines are gone from Tahoe.

Here’s the scoop: There are currently three 9/6 JoB machines in the Harrah’s high limit room. On the west wall, numbers 2 and 4. They are 5 play $1 or $2, so $25 to $50 a spin. The other three are $1 or $2 10 play (or less) machines, but are 9/5! They were 9/6 until a month ago.

One other is a “Five Star” 9/6, but be careful, the one next to it is is 8/6! Never have played this one.

Until I read this thread I didn't know that CZR and Wyndam were tied together. I went to my Wyndam online account and there it was.

I'm a diamond member of Wyndam. It's take 40 paid nights to get there.

Since I'm in the area I think I will do some investigating of a CZR property today. At the very least I'll tie my Wyndam account to CZR.

I may be able to figure a way you guys can rack up tier credits/reward credits at no cost.

I've avoided CZR properties for a long time because their slots have the lowest payback in the industry. But that doesn't mean the advantage slots don't go positive. It means you have to wait for better numbers than other properties.

For starters CZR has an online Slot Finder which makes it easy to see where certain machines are located.

So I went to a Caesar's property yesterday. They had a card printer just inside the door so I quickly had a card. I checked and it was zeroe'd out because I hadn't been on one of their properties in 5 years or so.

I knew I would find some advantage slots because of the Slot Finder online. So I found some plays. I jumped into a $250 lead and put 121 points on the card at $5 per point. That's a $605 wager.

Then I got to the Buffalo Diamonds. If you find a play on BD you are generally going to run some decent action....unless you suck out of the play early.

So I find this play on the $2.50 level. That blue 70 makes the play breakeven. I normally will want something above breakeven but I want to run some action to see if I generate any offers from Caesar's.

There are 4 bet levels on the Buffalo Diamonds, 75, 160, 250 and 400.

Free Games with multipliers build as you are playing.

Catch 3 gold coins you get to spin the wheel for free games at 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X pay. That occurs about every 125 spins.

If you hit the 2X, 3X, 4X you get the number of free games in that meter.

Here's what the bet pad looks like below. You can check all the numbers to see if anything is at advantage.

The math of the game is the same on the 75 and 160 levels....but 250 and 400 have their own configurations.

To snap that blue 70 off the expectation was to make 2000 spins average. At $2.50 per spin the expectation was to generate 1000 points.

But I sucked out of this play way early. I hit the 3X on the wheel in just 4 attempts when the expectation is 16.

I had started on other games with just a $100 ticket. Built it up to $350 then sat down on the BD. I was down to $202 when I hit it. But the expectation on this play is to go 1K into the machine. So I got outhouse lucky. I hit it at 74 free games and it built to 99 during the free games.

So I won $1050 on this BD play and had a $250 win on the other machines for a $1300 win total.

I had put 235 points total on the card, just an $1175 wager. Nothing else to play at that point, the machines needed some time to build new plays from the ploppies.

I went to the player's club kiosk to make sure my information was current and to see if there were any promotions. Found one promotion. I punched it up and was awarded a 5X multiplier for the day.

So I generated 1175 tier credits in about an hour's time. If I wanted to I could have hung around the joint to catch other plays as they developed. But I had other things to do.

Per the Caesar's Slot Finder online the Buffalo Diamonds are in about half their casinos.

It's stuff like this one should be generating points on instead of the losing video poker. You can literally show a profit while building to Diamond and 7 Stars.

I'll go over the playable numbers per the bet levels in future posts as I get the time.

PS: The expectation on the BD play was to put 1000 points on the card which would have multiplied to 5000. But I sucked out early so I'll take the win in lieu of the points.
