Frank Sinatra, Jr. died today of a heart attack -- the same thing that killed his father in 1998.
FS Jr. never matched the accomplishments of his dad. He did tour with his own orchestra and got gigs, but otherwise he never really made it big.
His biggest moment of fame wasn't even his own doing. He was kidnapped at age 19 from Harrah's Lake Tahoe (room 417, if you ever want to stay there), and was eventually released after his dad paid $240,000 ransom -- which is worth over $1.8 million today.
The kidnappers were caught, and the mastermind was sentenced to 75 years in prison. He only served 4 1/2 years, after being declared "legally insane" (lol liberals).
