The war on drugs is bullshit. When Chumlee racks up 20 felonies you got to ask yourself, what's up with all these private prison lobbyists.

Bail set at a whopping 62k.

I am guessing he had a blunts worth of weed, an empty baggie that used to have meth in it, and the "sex crime" is something of the 8th degree that carries a max penalty of a $1000 fine/1yr in jail.

Chumlee must have some big bucks if he can afford Micon's lawyer.

"The lawyer representing "Pawn Stars" reality TV star "Chumlee" says he'll fight felony weapon and drug charges — and sex assault allegations if they're filed.

Defense attorney David Chesnoff told the Associated Press on Thursday that he's "looking forward to the truthful conclusion" of the case against Austin Lee Russell."

The pics that came up on my computer when you search for Chum:

Unlikely David Chesnoff can beat all these charges but he should be able to reduce them down to 2.

Not sure what this "prohibited person" with a gun charge is but a felon in possession of a firearm is a minimum 2 years in state prison.

The 19 drug possession charges can be reduced to 1.

Could Chumlee survive 5 years in state prison?

Lets be honest the felony threshold in NV is a fucking joke and I don't know if NV has the same law as Ohio but they can slap a felony gun charge on folks there if they find drugs by claiming assumption they are an addict and thus shouldn't possess a firearm (The charge is almost the same wording in OH) so I wonder..
Also the 62000 Bond, means he had to come up with 6200 for a BailBond which he likely has or can borrow from Corey his chubby buddy from the pawn shop..
We shall see where this goes.. Anybody waiting for the other foot to drop and find out somehow Micon was involved with this indirectly be it the lawyer or something.. Micon somehow manages to find himself in some fucked up situations.

As suspected the bullshit gun charge is based on the drug possession. Per LVPD as Mr Russell was an admitted user of drugs (marajuana) he is considered a prohibited owner of firearms. It's the same BS law as I suspected it was. It's a gun grab law that nobody knew about. Technically using RX meds in some forms would also make you a prohibited gun owner. More bullshit sneak attacks on the second amendment and the "war on drugs". I hope his lawyer lights LVMPD on fire over these BS charges.

But you can be an alcoholic in possession of a wall of hard liquor -- a substance *known* to induce violent moods and behavior -- and legally own an arsenal of firearms.

Nevada is a shady State as far as these fuckers being able to game the system and get out of trouble time and time again. Props to Chesnoff. He learned from Oscar Goodman long ago. He's the read deal. But damn, the average guy doesn't stand a chance.

All states are similar. Money can buy you out of trouble in any state.

No doubt it matters, but all states are not equal in that regard. Its just my opinion after following Nevada news for the last decade that this type of stuff seems more prevalent there, that is all. Regardless, Chesnoff is God. What he did for Micon was an embarrassment to the entire judicial system.

NV is probably up there with IL, NY and FL as far as corruption, but money still talks everywhere.

Much respect Mr. 4D, I'm a fan, but Detroit is a city, we were only listing states.
