Jury in her case against Marriott only got the case this morning. They turned out quick and slapped Marriott with a $55Million judgement. They were drawing dead to begin with but when it came out one of the assholes from the hotel was showing the video around it got that much worse. Idiots should've settled. They'll likely appeal but I'm not sure they have any chance to win on appeal either. They just need to cut the check and STFU.
$55 million, that's an outrageous sum. $500k sounds about right imo.

MSN posted said the stalker owes 51% of it, the hotel groups the other 49% so in reality shes only going to see 1/2 of it. No way pervert clown ever pays up.

the marriotts i've been to have an option when you check in to have your name removed from the guest list so you dont show up if someone asks. The purpose is to make it so no one can find out which room is yours, much less find out if youre staying there at all. Did she just ask to switch rooms and not ask for that too? Or she asked for both because she was justifiably paranoid and marriott still screwed the pooch?
Most importantly how did this douche know she was staying at that marriott? was it publicized or was he full on stalking her (ie actually following her around everywhere she went)?
