Tight is right, expecially with the big fields

I actually stayed at the Bike last Friday night with my wife after we went to the Laker game. Played 20/40 limit hold'em on Saturday for a few hours. Not a great game, but not any worse than the Commerce (lost $200).

Hotel is brand new. Wife said the spa a little pricier than Commerce, but nice. The restaurant is average, but I have always liked the Bike's poker player menu and eat at the table anyway. At $150 a night, it is a pretty good deal in LA on a weekend. Would stay there again.

Play tight and aggressive , adjust to your table as you learn more about your opponents . Don't let yourself get too short though or you will have some trouble maintaining. Once you learn more about your opponents don't be afraid to make moves to pick up chips. I am sure the field will be large enough that you will have to get a bit lucky make it deep, so be sure to give yourself a chance .
