tip for cheap jews like Druff: you can eat for free at many Vegas casinos

The high limit baccarat rooms at Bellagio, Caesar's, etc have free food for the gamblers. It is mainly Asian food and they also got fruit and dessert. Just act like you been there before and grab a plate and start eating. Done it dozens of times & never had a problem.

How many members of this forum could possibly be mistaken for "High Limit Baccarat Players"?

Druff may be cheap, and he may try to extract as much vale as he can for a dollar, but he is no thief. I could never visualize him doing something like this.

I thought Druff doesn't really go for Asian?

More seriously: The problem with table games, even ones with a low house edge like Bac, is that it can be a pain to be properly rated for comps. Free food or not, I don't see Druff wanting that hassle.

While I wouldn't consider eating food placed out for the public at a casino to be "stealing", I still wouldn't do it.

You just kind of look like an asshole for going in there, grabbing food, and walking out (or just sitting there eating it and not playing).

I have been to every Caesars property diamond lounge in Vegas. Every property but the Linx and Ballys had one as of last summer. I think they are all fail food wise unless you like under cooked chicken wings. If you are a drinker, then you'll have no complaints.

I ate at an exclusive 7 star only lounge at Caesars Atlantic City a few times and let me tell you the food there (served off a fixed menu) is on par with many gourmet restaurants. It was that good. Unfortunately, there are no Seven Star Lounges in Vegas.

Bellagio serves a small buffet style as mentioned in the high limit baccarat room. They also have a lounge in their VIP check in area. Cocktails, bottled soft drinks, chocolate strawberries and such but they have a mutt in there asking to see Bellagio VIP room keys.

Both the Venetian and Palazzo have vip lounges. The Venetian has a gold card lounge in the high limit slot room. You can bring up to 4 people. Free cocktails, finger sandwiches, usually a soup, a few types of fruit and some salad.

The Palazzo lounge is in the Palazzo VIP check in lobby. You have to have a plantum card (their highest one) to enter but no one EVER checks. It's silly because it's suppose to be a better lounge than the gold one yet the handful of times I have visited, they have less of a selection. I think they don't check card status due to the fact all invited guests to the palazzo regardless of card status can check in there.

If you ever receive a comp (regardless of your card level) you can always check in at VIP check in, provided the property has one. Almost every VIP check in will offer Fiji water, sodas, cocktails and some finger food.

What constitutes high limits in the Bellagio baccarat room these days?

The only thing open after 11:30pm at the Bellagio is Snacks and Room Service. Cafe Bellagio is no longer 24 hours. You might find yourself in that baccarat section at 3am.

Shit. I heard a lot of places consider $50 a hand or even $20 a hand to be high limit. But $100 a hand would make for some very expensive chocolate covered strawberries 51.6% of the time.

What year was this? Because I used to go to the one at Harrah's in AC, which was excellent. This was back in 2009-2010. The poker action at Harrah's was questionable versus Caesars AC, so I didn't go as often as I would have liked given the hassle of the traffic to and from there on weekend night.

But perhaps Caesars opened one after then.

Amazing. Cafe Bellagio had been open 24 hours since the property opened. Up until a few years ago, they offered a extensive menu 24 hours. Then they went to their late night limited menu around 2012. It's absolutely a cost cutting measure but surprises me because the cafe was always packed late at night.

When I moved here in 2001 every single casino had a 24 hour coffee shop. That seems to be a thing of the past now.

Also, Noodles (located next to high limit baccarat) is open until 2am 7 days a week. The food is good and not tremendously over priced for a strip restaurant.

The last time I was there was 2014. I had a eaten there as well in 2012 and 2013.

They had a menu (free of course) that had items such as crab cakes, jumbo shrimp cocktail, Kobe sliders and many high end, good quality entrees. You were only responsible for gratuity.

The food for the most part was served tapas style but you could order as much as you'd like.
