Hotel in Las Vegas for the 4th of July

Hi guys. I'm traveling to Las Vegas for the 4th of July and was looking for some hotel advice.

Could someone recommend a few reasonably priced hotels this time of the year? (location is not much of a factor)

Also, has anyone used Airbnb in Vegas? I was thinking about giving this a try...

    Thanks

First what do you consider reasonably priced?

Pricing is based on traditional occupancy during that time of year.

AirBnB in Vegas seems like a waste unless you hate things like gambling, drinking and fun.

In that price range, I looked 1st - 4th FYI (let me know if dates are different that changes things a bunch)

I would consider in this order of preference (I am partial to being closer to midstrip)

    Venetian
    Mirage

    Mandalay Bay

Treasure Island if you are looking a bit cheaper

Tropicana if you want even cheaper

You will regret this decision. Rio sucks balls.

Don't be cheap. Mandalay Bay would be a much better choice that time of year.

just praying you're playing in an event to justify this in some way.

How do you go from paying "few hundy a night" to not even on the strip?

Monte Carlo is like 45 a night and it's probably just as much of a shithole as Rio but at least it's on the strip.

you should consult alvin finklestein and see if you can cancel that room and book something different at no cost to you

....or just stay at the good old Mold Coast right next to the Rio. Probably half the price and just as shitty!

What are the exact dates you are going?

Problem with the Rio is while it looks close to the Strip it is a giant pain in the ass to get back and forth and you think you will walk but when it's a 120 degrees outside you won't be walking.

I stayed at Monte Carlo about 10 yrs ago and liked it. Has it gone downhill?

I stayed @ Monte Carlo last year & it was just fine. It's a way better choice than Rio that's for sure

Make America great again and stay in Trump Tower. He makes the best deals! $189 a night.

All the other hotels are losers.

The Shrink: Have you seen the Rio? It really is a disgusting pig. It's getting very bad reviews on TripAdvisor. Trump is #1, of course which is YUGE.

I stayed in Trump Tower for CES a few months ago. It was garbage. Felt like an AirBnb without the charm.

Excuse me, excuse me, EXCUSE me.... Obviously just another super pac donor and obviously just upset that Trump does not employ illegal immigrants to work in our hotels, unlike all the other loser hotel's on the strip that do.

We're going to build a wall... A wall so big and great... You won't believe how great it's going to be.

Just because he thinks location doesn't matter doesn't mean he's not horrendously wrong.
