He has to stay disciplined and not blow himself out on that initial 50 mile climb out of Los Angeles.
That last peak in the Mojave is going to be brutal but if he's already made it that far then he should be able to gut it out.
Done and agreed . I have no idea whether he will make it but I love the drive from LA to Vegas and do it 6 to 10 times per year, some times back and forth on the same day, and am curious whether he will make it. In fact my dream some day when I have enough time away from work is to take the trip by motorcycle (maybe one of those three wheel bikes since I have no experience).
I'm pretty sure DB will have multiple bikes at his disposal for different terrain and probably an air conditioned, fully loaded RV following him along, which should make it easier.
But who knows.
Yeah, I would imagine him having lots of luxury for this trip. The downhill parts of the ride, should be relatively simple, but I wouldnt want to climb half my trip uphill.
Hoping his ass hurts 1 hour in.
I was under the impression though, that the bet is LA to Vegas, is that correct? Not Vegas to LA. The Uphil climb out of LA is what is making me confident that he wont make it, with the minimal amount of training on specific leg muscles he will get.

Bilzerian needs to pick a day when the wind is going to be at his back
Well there has been a rather significant detail that changed as far as I am concerned (or was under the impression about)....Dan tweeted the other day that he only has "3 more weeks to train". So this has to happen by MARCH 31....and not MAY 31. I thought he had months to prepare, not weeks. Could have sworn the date was May 31?
Date doesn't matter, I just thought the bet had to be completed by then so he could go anytime
Bilzerian did a prop bet with Sam Abernathy for 10k, she couldn't ride from Vegas to LA in under 72 hrs. Abernathy won the bet it appears.

Bilzerian obv getting ready with Lance Armstrong to do his prop bet in under 48 hrs... I think his bet is the other direction LA to Vegas.

A massive prop bet between high-stakes poker players Dan Bilzerian and Bill Perkins is set to happen in the coming days.
Bilzerian, the son of a wealthy corporate takeover specialist and now a well-known but infamous social media user, must bike from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in under 48 hours. If he doesn’t, Perkins, a film producer and hedge fund manager, will win the bet.
A total of $1.2 million is on the line for the ride that’s roughly 300 miles.
According to distanceto.com, the elevation of Las Vegas is 2,005.7 feet or 611.34 meters and the elevation of Los Angeles is 284.93 feet or 86.85 meters, which makes for a difference of 1,720.77 feet or 524.49 meters. In other words, the ride will feature some tough climbs through the Mojave Desert.
In preparation for the ride, disgraced cycler Lance Armstrong, who captured seven consecutive Tour de France titles before eventually being stripped of them due to cheating, came on board and offered some coaching and cycling companionship to Bilzerian.
The 35-year-old Bilzerian said that he had not ridden a bicycle in 18 years prior to agreeing to the bet with Perkins. In case you think the wager is easy (48 hours is a lot of time), consider that Bilzerian has had several heart attacks. Though, he was once training to become a Navy Seal.
Though winning $600,000 or so from Perkins sounds like a lot, Bilzerian said he once flipped a coin for a pile of chips worth about $2.3 million, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
Bilzerian Tweeted a video Monday of him and Armstrong hanging out and riding together. The bet calls for the ride to happen by Mar. 31.
BALLIN'!!
Agreed it's pretty weird. They have a section on it. https://mobile.matchbook.com/page/ge...ed/back-v-lay/
The first one (Yes to complete the challenge) is bet 100 to win 125, I think if you bet more $ you get better odds.
The second one (No to complete the challenge) I plugged in $50 to win $65.
Not sure if correct, they also have some liability thing. I'll leave it for someone with more experience with betting (perhaps if there is a euro on here that uses it).
PS... WTF is with the quotes on the site, Druff I think there is a bug.

How long did it take for his temporary girlfriend to make it? She had 72 hours.
