Mitch Garber is a nice guy and takes criticism well. I let him know how I felt about the barring of a blackjack card counter at the Baltimore Horseshoe last year who was then banned from all Caesars properties, including the WSOP. Since Garber is CEO of both, I blamed him for this injustice in this YouTube video.



After I released the video, I was blocked on Twitter by the WSOP and complained to Garber who resolved it within hours.

After Garber's act of kindness, I gave him props for speeding up the WSOP Main Event Final Table play. Garber made my day with his retweet of this.

JSTAT, I think you backed the wrong horse with the Joe Stiers thing (the guy who got banned from Horseshoe Baltimore and the WSOP).

He was his own worst enemy, and clearly had major issues.

I am all for standing up for fellow advantage players, but this guy was a douche. His actions bordered on trolling the Horseshoe, which is why they finally got tired of him and just banned him entirely.

I will concede that the Horseshoe initially handled this VERY poorly and was also unethical, but this guy really created his own problems by trying to take advantage of "rights" which didn't exist.
