Maine Mass Shooting

It seems we don't have mass shooting threads anymore unless at least 20 are killed. However, this one is particularly surprising because it happened in Maine which is one of the safest states in the union. Here's a CNN story. I'll be reading more about this later. Sadly, I'm sure it must be religiously or racially motivated.

The person has not been caught. CNN reports more than 60 shot and 16 dead.

Here in New England we've not had a mass shooting until today since Sandy Hook Elementary. On Sunday a man in Gardner, MA killed his wife in front of his kids and is still on the loose and now this psycho. It also seems that until today we've not had a mass shooting in the country for quite some time. This one is especially bad.

he's using an AR15 looks like they're designed to resemble Military M4/M14. One of the big differences would be Cyclic Function so how many shots fires per trigger pull. A FULLY Automatic weapon is illegal for obvious reasons but semi Automatic so few shots per trigger pull which this would be, are out there. Myself im not a fan of weapons and do think more guns=more deaths but having said that what you have here is not good. You have a civilian who took a sorta resembling Military Approach into a Bowling Alley for what reasons who knows except that's a soft target, he knew that and wanted to inflict the maximum amount of death and pain so unfortunate.
