Every weed advocate has been on edge to see what Sessions has to say about his position on the matter, well here you go...

    https://www.leafly.com/news/politics...-hearings-dont

3:08 — CANNABIS ALERT! Leahy gets to it: “Regarding states rights. states have also voted on the issue of marijuana. Your own state of Alabama permits a derivative of marijuana known as CBD oil. Which is legal in Alabama, but illegal under federal law. If you are confirmed as the nation’s chief law enforcement official, you know we have very limited federal resources. Would you use our federal resources to investigate and prosecute sick people who are using marijuana in accordance with their state laws?”

Sessions answers: “I won’t commit to never enforcing federal law. But absolutely, it’s a problem of resources for the federal government. The Department of Justice under Lynch and Holder set forth some policies they thought were appropriate regarding states that have legalized in some fashion.” He added that there has been criticism of those policies, “some of them are truly valuable, but fundamentally the criticism that I find legitimate is that they [the Cole memo guidelines] may not have been followed. Using judgment in how to handle these cases will be mine, and I will do it in a fair and just way.”

Leahy: “In the past you have called for the death penalty for second-time marijuana offenders.”
Sessions: “That doesn’t sound like something I’d normally say.”
Leahy: “Would you say that’s not your view today?”
Sessions: “That is not my view today.”

3:13 — MORE CANNABIS. Sen. Mike Lee follows up with a question about federalism. “We’ve seen new attention paid to it,” he says, “but in the limited area associated with marijuana.” Did the way the Obama administration handled marijuana legalization sit well with you, in terms of both federalism and the separation of powers. Did the DOJ’s decision to not prosecute cannabis sellers and consumers in legalized states “contravene the understanding that Congress is the lawmaking body?”
Sessions responds: “One obvious concern is that Congress has made the possession of marijuana in every state an illegal act. If that is not desired any longer, Congress should pass a law to change it. It’s not the attorney general’s job to decide which laws to enforce. We should enforce the laws as effectively as we are able.”

This is correct in theory, but in practice the Department of Justice has limited resources, and its leaders decide which areas of law to emphasize and which cases to prosecute, and which to ignore. That applies to federal cannabis laws just as much as it does to insider trading laws, banking laws, antitrust laws, and other areas where large room for prosecutorial discretion exists.
Not a lot to go off of, but he seems kind of indifferent to it. Just like that crook Holder. So that is encouraging.

In other Las Vegas marijuana news.....

    http://www.thescore.com/mma/news/120...medium=twitter

The Nevada State Athletic Commission could be changing its drug policies.

The NSAC will vote Friday on potentially removing cannabinoids (marijuana) from the list of banned substances, according to its Jan. 13 meeting agenda. This decision follows the state of Nevada legalizing marijuana last November.

Excluding marijuana from the banned substances list could have a major impact on mixed martial artists competing in Nevada. In September 2015, UFC welterweight Nick Diaz received a five-year suspension from MMA and a $165,000 fine when he tested positive for marijuana metabolites following a fight with Anderson Silva. The suspension was reduced to 18 months after an appeal, but Diaz is yet to return to competition.

Former heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez also raised eyebrows recently when he revealed that he was using medicinal marijuana to help him deal with lingering injuries during his training for a rematch with Fabricio Werdum (the bout was later canceled when the NSAC ruled Velasquez unfit to compete).

It's important to note that the NSAC's decision will have no bearing on the policies of the World Anti-Doping Agency or the United States Anti-Doping Agency, both of which include marijuana on their lists of banned substances. The USADA is the official drug testing partner of the UFC.

    Leahy:
“In the past you have called for the death penalty for second-time marijuana offenders."
Dude he probably said it, The Young Turks busted him in many lies. He's from a different era and not qualified for the job. He's saying whatever to get approved, look to his record for the truth.

The guy running for head of law enforcement is already lying, what gives.

Sessions was the first U.S. Senator to back Trump in his bid for the presidency and bought into the campaign whole hog. He served as a close advisor, coached Trump on his VP pick, used a top aide to help craft Trump’s stance on immigration, and took the public position that grabbing a woman’s genitals is not sexual assault.

Session’s political loyalty to Trump and his insider status with the campaign raise serious questions about whether he can faithfully serve as “the people’s lawyer,” not Trump’s, in the face of thorny and inevitable ethics issues.
Trump's got some insane conflicts of Interest so obv he needs a close advisor in charge..

can some one tell me if you can take dried crushed weed and steep it with herbal tee in a defuser with out using oil or fat to extract thc with hot water?
otherwise could i mix weed with say coconut oil and then steep it in hot water... will that work?

a buddy gave me a jar of what looks like powdered blond hash, the said it came from a scuff machine that extracts thc crystals from the trimmed off leafs.

just trying to make some happy herbal tee any suggestions/help with this would be appreciated.

Edit: I found out a little about this now, I guess there is no way to just steep weed with water and literally need to make "Canna Coconut Oil" and put this in the tea, not the easy happy tea i was hoping for. I expect come April here in Canada i will be able to buy some cannabus Oil and put a few drops in my tea.... I may give it a go as i have a lot of this keef and not a fan of smoking it.

i expect 35k is a dew drop in the ocean compared to what hes going to have to spend on a proper lab and insurance.

consider the potential value of downselling access to your license to contractors and this becomes an easy yes.

35k is not near enough to run a proper co2 and butane lab. A decent co2 extractor alone will cost 140k, and that's a small unit. Good butane setup is 50k min. This is just for the equipment. You need 500k min to do it right.

    So true.

The place I work for just dropped $200k on equipment and our lab is still ghetto as fuck. They are still putting out quality product though.

I will try and snap some pics tomorrow. The overall setup is def clown shoes though, and nothing like a clean laboratory should be.

From my understanding they are doing 40 dispensaries, 40 cultivation and 40 production. Meaning: they want everyone to be vertically integrated, which has proven to be a horrible model. If I could get a license in Ohio, which I think is going to be a cluster fuck, I would get it and park it and wouldn't give a fuck at all when the state threatens revocation for lack of moving forward, cause in the end, they never enforce it. Sit on that shit and let the market play out and watch all the dead bodies fall. People are going to lose their ass there dude, trust me on this. The only people that will make money the first couple years will be lawyers and lobbyists.
