    Cigar recommendations

I enjoy smoking a cigar from time to time.

    What is your favorite cigar?

US accessible - Ashton Cabinet selection, around 10-14 bucks. Acid cigars - different odor to them.

for some reason, I have never enjoyed a single PUNCH cigar. They always seem to be rolled so tight that the draw is difficult.

My default is the Arturo Fuente Gran Reserve.

I have a Montecristo Platinum that I have been sitting on for like 2 years now. Mainly because it is going to take like 2 hours to smoke. Definitely getting to it this summer.

I stopped buying the large cigars because I found myself getting buzzed halfway through it. The rest just went to waste.

I started buying the smaller petite and cigarrillo versions and get a nice buzz after one cigar or two. Saves a lot of cash...I just dont look cool smoking a tiny cigar. Dont care though.

How many you smoking a year? I probably average like 6. Pretty much only smoke between May and September.

I am fortunate enough to live in the UK, which means my government allows me both to play poker online and smoke Cuban cigars. Personally I am partial to a Bolivar robusto and a Partagas petit corona, but check out the link below for hundreds of reviews (Cuban and otherwise). It should help you find something you like.

Well, during the height of cigar popularity, maybe around 10 years ago, I was smoking quite a bit. Now, I am down to maybe one little one a week. It got very expensive to be spending anywhere from 5-20 bucks every other day. At one point, I smoked cubans (montecristo #2, Cohibas, Hoyo de Monterrey) averaging $30 a piece for a month or so. Blew too much cash and wasted lots of cigars. I smoked every day down at the HANGOUT fest last weekend and my throat feels like shit. Its a guilty pleasure that I need to cut down on.

If they make any of these anymore, I would try them:

    Puros Indios
    Lars Tetons

Lars' shit is very expensive, and Acid's are cheap substitutes. That guy made some killer smokes though.

I usually like medium body smokes. Hoyo de Monterey is about as Full bodied as I want to get.

I just started getting in to cigars this year... I joined a smoke shop with a private room for smoking, cards, drinking, whatever... So far I am not hardcore enough to just go for a big dank cigar.

Right now my favorite is the Kuba Kuba by Acid, its pretty cheap too, especially when ordering online.

anything made by Pepin Garcia except for the black i get buzzed and feel like passing out there are really so many good ones available, puffing 2-3 per day I stay in the $3-$4 range per stick by only purchasing online specials and auctions in volume usually 40-50% off retail, you can save even more on closeouts for example this week i'm buying:

    4 - Montecristo White Belicoso (6" x 52)
    3 - Gurkha '8-Year Aged' Legend Toro (6" x 50)
    3 - Cohiba Puro Dominicana Toro (6" x 54)
    $39.95

    10 - Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne Robusto $ 34.95

Seeing as its Memorial Day soon, I want to purchase a medium-bold cigar. I too have the issue that halfway through I get really lightheaded. Going to accompany it with a couple bags of Volcano afterwards. I have had the Romeo y Julieta and the Churchills before.

Recommendations? I have a cigar shop near me and Im sure that they will have anything you reco.
