I have no idea how this is some sort of PROOF that his account is locked out because of the Lee Jones tweet

Here's what got Jason Mo banned from Pokerstars:

Then an Aussie claimed he would take him up on it, if Jones were ever to travel to Australia:

2+2 Pokercast host (and regular PFA Radio listener) Adam Schwartz called out Jason, attempting to get him to take it back:

Then Jason Mo accused Adam of criticizing him simply because Pokerstars sponsors the 2+2 Pokercast!

    Is this Mo guy retarded?

How can you post such a thing about an executive at the site you regularly play on, and is holding hundreds of thousands of dollars of your money, and not think there will be any consequences?

Some of these poker guys have no clue how real life works.

If you posted on Twitter during WSOP that you would pay someone to kick Seth Palansky or Jack Effel in the balls, how do you think it would go over? You would be almost certainly banned from both the WSOP and all Caesars properties. Same thing applies here.

Amazing how naive some of these poker grinders are.

And oddly enough, poker gossip side F5Poker (an offshoot of Pokerfuse) carried a story about the whole thing, and they have since deleted it.

    http://f5poker.com/poker-news/2016/....e-jones-nuts-/

On another side note, we had a similar situation over 10 years ago on neverwinpoker, where user BANGEM hilariously got suspended after e-mailing Pokerstars and said that he wants to hit Lee Jones in the head with a "waffler" (waffle iron).

Jones then told BANGEM he could only come back if he made a donation in Lee's name to the Heifer Foundation.

good chance this has to do with jmo using banned software and trying to deflect from the real reason

and/or maybe he was doing things that they might let slide or not look into until he upsets someone within management

kind of like the irs auditing someone giving obama heat

I'm MUCH more inclined to agree with this...as I posted above the email he posted to his Twitter is from the poker Stars game integrity department and NOT from a department that would deal with something about a silly tweet

Did you guys believe Jason's story about the large denom. poker chip that got dry cleaned. Casino thought it was counterfeit and banned him.
I believe him but I also believe he may use banned software. He really shed some light on the banned software out there. One of the best pokerjoey interviews imo.

I never understood why Lee Jones went from stars to cake and how he got back on stars again. I guess you can go home again. Lee jones sucked at whatever function and support management he performed for cake.

PokerStars support is and always have been complete and utter bs.

They block your account all the time for stupid reasons like using another card to deposit or at random, and then it takes them days and days of harsh e-mails from you for them to finally get their finger out and do something about it, constantly saying "this is being looked at by another department, thanks for your patience" and in the end, it turns out that it was something they could have dealt with in 0.2 seconds. Even if they are always busy, they should recognise that they need more people and employ them with the massive amount of money they have and keep their customers happy. and another thing that grinds my gears is you could get treated completely differently based on who you get, whether they are a ballbreaker or a sweetheart that actually employs logic.

I really can't stand them, their software is class but their support leaves a lot to be desired.

Also, I don't agree with Druff, you can't go blocking people's online accounts for days just because they made a silly comment on twitter. I empathise with the guy having to deal with that shower

Disagree with Druff. No need to block the guys Pokerstars account over a tweet. It is incredibly soft to ban somebody for this reason and I don't support it at all. Not shocked at all that Druff feels that way, not entirely unreasonable, but then you would have to ban all the trolls on twitter and two plus two? How would you manage that? Only ban the ones who use their real names that can be easily linked to their PS accounts?

Envisage? Sylvester Stallone motherfuckers. Best pokerstars story I remember obv pre Amaya, is some guy went on drunken monkey tilt and sent stars an email that he was going to go to their headquarters and machine gun everyone. He woke up in a drunken stupor to hear a helicopter overhead and swat team breaking down his door. I guess they are still vigilant when it comes to threats of any kind.

    Pokerstars is a private business.

Nobody has a right to be there.

By playing there, you do have a right to a fair game, and to cash out your money at any time.

But they can refuse service to you at any time for any reason.

If you are a customer they don't value too much in the first place (i.e. a winning player), you'd have to be an idiot to antagonize its managers by telling people to do physical harm to them (even if joking).

Would you write such a thing about the manager of a restaurant you frequent? A nightclub you like to visit? Obviously not. And if you did, nobody would have any sympathy for you if you got banned for doing so.

    Same thing here.

    It's common sense.

If you want to keep playing on Pokerstars, don't tweet that you'll pay someone to kick Lee Jones in the nuts.

Jason thought he was being a rebellious, funny guy, and now he's paying the price for it.

I think he left Stars because he was scared, shortly after the UIGEA passed.

He stepped down to a lower profile failsite, and then when it looked safe again, he returned to Stars.

Or at least that's what I think happened.

He's actually fortunate he got the position in the first place. He developed a relationship with Stars because they carried his book in their FPP store, and he moved up from there.

He used to just be a low-mid limit Bay Area grinder, who wrote a moderately popular poker book.

By law, the only thing that Amaya is allowed to care about is maximizing earnings for shareholders.

Do Lee Jones' hurt feelings on the internet cost Amaya money? No.

Does Jason Mo as a customer make Amaya money? That's a more difficult question. They may be correct to fire him but not because he says mean things on Twitter.

I think what people have missed in all this is what started all this shit.. If you go look on Four you will find JMos animosity towards Lee jones goes back to the chip theft incident JMo reported at EPT Barcelona last summer.. Mo wasn't the only one to complain about theft of chips during a color up and is likely a continuation of the anger JMo voiced back then and felt like Jones blew him off (big fucking surprise considering Lee Jones impotent inability to handle any issues that have bitten PS live events in the ass up to an including the delayed action to make whole the guy who was robbed by the TD in the Bahamas).

Heres the thread and JMos orginal posting
