Donald Trump isn't going to become the nominee, according to this NY Times article.
Basic point of the article is that Trump needs to expand his support in order to win the nomination (just sitting flat at 35% or so isn't going to do it), and that the other candidates dropping out will likely to go to Cruz or Rubio.
Also article is saying that as the actual election gets closer, people will become more pragmatic and won't be able to bring themselves to vote for a clownish candidate.
Cruz now polling nationally at 20% for the first time ever, and is now just 15.3 points behind Trump -- a gap than can quickly close if Cruz keeps rising.
