Even if you hate wrestling, this is a transcendent match and without a doubt one of the greatest of all time. At least three legit "Holy Shit!" moments in the match.
Two HOF performers at the top of their game.
Do yourselves a favor, and watch this match...absolutely amazing.
This truly was the wrestling match that launched Pro Wrestling; Larry Zybysko turned on Bruno Sammartino (the icon legend) in the match and a month later they wrestled to 40,000 live in NYC at Shea Stadium. Larry was the understudy and student for like a year and they wrestled in what was supposed to be a 'scientific match". Before my time, but it is the standard. If you watch closely towards the end, you can see the ref give Bruno the blade to cut himself.
