    JSTAT Blackjack Card Counting

Being a postal worker with a lot of stress, I channeled my anger into winning at blackjack. I felt like going postal at times during my career as a postal worker. I was a recovering hi-lo card count loser before discovering my JSTAT Count over twenty years ago. I was barred for card counting in the 90's using a count never used before. Little did the casinos know that the barring would result in the spreading of my JSTAT Count on the Internet and YouTube. The ten cards are counted as minus two and the non tens are plus one. The aces are not counted here. The aces are side counted. We are looking for more aces than normal and plus counts. An ace should appear every thirteen cards. The count is free and all questions will be answered to assist others take down the casinos. Good luck and enjoy my videos.

I also show you how to side count eights and nines while using the JSTAT Count. I use my left shoe as a foot count to side count the 8/9's while using my main count. The 8/9 side count can be used to supplement other counts such as the Hi-Lo or Simple Plus Minus Count. With more eights and nines left and a decent plus count, the dealer will bust more often and our double downs on 10/11 will improve. It becomes very simple counting cards with two methods at once after a little practice.

The new fad/ripoff at blackjack is to pay 6:5 when one receives a blackjack instead of the normal 3:2 payouts. Most ploppies (amateur blackjack players) don't care such as my wife in the video. One will rarely obtain an advantage card counting with 6:5 blackjack payouts. It adds an additional 1.39% disadvantage to the house advantage, so avoid the 6:5 blackjack payout structure!

    Funny story about 6:5 blackjack.

My ex-girlfriend Miri invited her friend Lanie to come along for the ride when we drove between LA and Vegas some years ago. Lanie wasn't staying with us, and she was going to do her own thing with friends, but she needed a ride, so we gave her one.

During the 300 mile drive, Lanie inquired, "Todd, I know you're an expert when it comes to blackjack. I understand the basics of how to play, but not much more than that. Can you give me some tips?"

So I gave her the very basic tips -- keep hitting until you get to hard 12, and then only keep hitting if the dealer is showing a 7 or higher. Never hit once you have hard 17 or more. Always double 11 except against an ace, double 10 against everything except a ten and an ace, and double 9 against 3-6. Double A2-A6 against a 4, 5, or 6. I know some of these are slightly incorrect or oversimplified, but for a novice this is basically good advice.

But then came the piece of advice I hammered into her head.

"You're going to see these games with 6:5 payout for blackjack, mostly single deck. DO NOT PLAY THEM. It's very bad. The odds are horribly against you, and you gain nothing from playing a game like that. Stay away!"

I made sure she understood what I meant by 6:5, and why it was so bad. She said she understood and swore she would stay away.

The next day, I was walking through Harrah's and I saw her at a blackjack table. I walked up to say hello. It was 6-5 single deck.

Is it ever +EV to play in a 6:5 BJ game? I'm pretty sure I have played in the one game where there's an exception. It was single deck where they were putting the cut card to the end of the deck to where the last hand would complete the deck. Therefore you were always getting an absolute correct count on last hand of deck and could even know exactly what cards were left if your mind is that sharp enough. Isn't this specific 6:5 game worth playing?

With every possible favorable rule to the player, playing 5 rounds per shuffle heads-up, 6:5 single deck, player would have .9% edge spreading 1-15.

You're results speak for themselves. But we are not a results oriented forum. Math is idiotic.

Are you ready to share 4 things about yourself? Your action, lol.
