Umm...
It's about goddamned time.
I think the biggest nerdgasm was in the Star Wars prequel when yoda was doing his jumping light saber thing.
Fecal Faggotry has sucked since X
I never liked FF, it was way too Japanese for me. I mean I have respect for its longevity as a franchise, it may only be eclipsed by Wolfenstein in its venerability. But I mean it's a huge disconnect from what they are doing now to what FF7 actually was as a game. Either way, fairly certain the same people that were taken by that trailer will most likely be consumers of Fallout 4 regardless.
Well, they fucked it all up.
I guess kids these days find turn-based combat too boring. Maybe they'll give all the characters grenade launchers and assault rifles.
Cloud looks and sounds weird as fuck too.
Hmmm...
I haven't been into gaming much at all in the past decade or so. Aside from the Wii U i bought my little man for Christmas, literally the last gaming console I owned was the original XBOX. Lately, during my downtime I have been playing a couple of games on the laptop (like World Of Warships).
I see this Fallout hype and I even see a couple of my friends who are my age who get into the whole COD thing, and its kind of has me contemplating on buying a system or whatever it is i need to play some of the good stuff out there; im kind of looking at the fact that my son is 7 now and getting pretty gaming literate so this is partially my reasoning for buying something so that maybe sooner or later we can start playing together as well. (obv minus the really bad stuff that a 7 year old maybe shouldn't be getting into).
Could someone briefly educate me? If i were to buy a game system and whatever extras I need, what is the "in thing" to get these days. Example: is there a certain system that is better than another to play games like COD or Fallout 4? Also, id like to if possible get something that is not going to go out of style right away. (I remember when I got the XBOX back in the day, it seemed like it wasn't very long before the thing was pretty much rendered obsolete)
Opinions?
My initial reaction to San Bernadino was that this was some kind of Fallout 4 publicity stunt.
