Lifestyles of the Full Tilt Rich and Famous: Andy Bloch selling house for $9 million

    http://www.realtor.com/news/celebrit...ome-las-vegas/

Bloch had a decent sized share in Full Tilt, though as far as I can tell, he was not responsible in any way for the money thefts committed by Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Ray Bitar, and Rafe Furst.

Still, he made many millions from Full Tilt, and for some of the time was paid with our money, even if unknowingly.

He is selling his Vegas house for $9 million.

Not bad for a former MIT blackjack card counting nerd.

I'm angry. I'm literally and actually offended someone would make a house look like that.

I dont think there is enough disposable income in the world for that house to sell for a dime over 5.25m, its going to cost an easy 750k just to make it look like an adult lives there.

Totally agree. it must he enormous to even attempt to sell that for 8 mil. It isnt like houses in Vegas are that expensive.

Im guessing it must sit on a huge, isolated plot of land, and that the master bedroom leads out to that hottub and shares that view. Those could be the marquis sales points right there, because all I see otherwise are very bad decisions that are going to be hugely expensive to fix.

I am not sure why people build houses with enormous bathrooms. That bathroom is the size of a fucking living room. Wasted space, paying for square footage for no reason. Plus it looks like fucking shit.

Horrible style all around, he shouldn't get more than the price of the land it sits on.

There is plenty one could do with that bathroom. Lie down showers, a very large tub with tasteful tile work around it, an arborium, etc.

But apparently he felt the better investment was to let a teenage Jewish princess from Secaucus handle it.

Extremely gaudy, just like Bloch's "home".... you simply can't buy class and aesthetic taste.

Christ, just look at that artwork......

    Ok this is too fantastic.

Property was sold in 2008 for about 1.1m, home was built in 2011. Estimated value is EXACTLY what we guessed at just under 5m; the total lot size is like .65 acres.

And to top it all off, it appears that the lot directly adjacent to it is not part of the property, meaning that most likely its been purchased and is about to be developed, hence Andrew cutting and running for the hills.

Zillow estimates that the house is worth about $4.8 million.

Taxable value is about $3.7 million.

Real actual value probably somewhere between $4 to 4.5 million.

Good luck finding a buyer that will pay $9 million for that house.

    Vegas isn't L.A.

You can't flip high-end homes in Vegas.

Not that surprising Andy Bloch home looks ugly from that hat he always wore.
