Black Lives Matter protesters berate white students studying at Dartmouth library

Roughly 150 Black Lives Matter protesters reportedly stormed a library at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, Thursday night to berate students studying there for their supposed racial privilege.

The Dartmouth Review, an independent newspaper at the private Ivy League college, reported that protesters marched into the Baker-Berry Library shouting profanity and berating white students.

Protesters reportedly shouted “F– you, you filthy white f–-” “f– you and your comfort” and “f– you, you racist s–.”

“Throngs of protesters converged around fellow students who had not joined in their long march,” The Review reported. “They confronted students who bore ‘symbols of oppression’ such as ‘gangster hats’ and Beats-brand headphones. The flood of demonstrators opened the doors of study spaces with students reviewing for exams. Those who tried to close their doors were harassed further. One student abandoned the study room and ran out of the library. The protesters followed her out of the library, shouting obscenities the whole way.”

Men and women were pushed and shoved by the group, the newspaper claimed.

One woman was reportedly pinned to a wall by protesters who shouted “filthy white b–-” in her face.

“The tactics, tone, and words of the Black Lives Matter protesters eerily mirrored everything they claim to stand against,” writes The Review. “The long list of their clear oversteps should spark a moment of reckoning for every honest onlooker, and especially those who have sympathized with their movement to this point.”

One video taken from the incident, published by Campus Reform, showed the contentious scene when dozens of people chanting “black lives matter” overtook an area of the library. One woman is seen raising her middle finger at the camera, while another confronts the camera-holder on whether he believes black lives matter.

Racial tension escalates at KU: How we got here

As racial tensions grow at the University of Kansas, the story is playing out on social media, where students are organizing, garnering support and venting.

The Student Senate’s Student Executive Committee is demanding that student body president Jessie Pringle, student body vice president Zach George and chief of staff Adam Moon step down by Wednesday and that the full Senate take up impeachment measures if they refuse to leave, the Lawrence Journal-World reported. The committee registered a 6-3 “no confidence” vote Friday for the three leaders. One member abstained from the vote.



The resignation demand comes after last week’s unrest at the University of Missouri and after a forum that KU Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little moderated on Wednesday, where a student group Rock Chalk Invisible Hawk presented diversity demands, which include hiring a director for the Office of Multicultural Affairs by Dec. 15, mandatory “inclusion and belonging” training for students and faculty, and increased diversity in hiring.

Wednesday, Nov. 11

University of Kansas Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little moderated a forum on race — #KuConvo — at the Kansas Union that became acrimonious at times. At one point, according to Twitter, people yelled over the chancellor as she spoke. The meeting was packed.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO/AP) — Protesters with Black Lives Matter shut down Interstate 94 near downtown Minneapolis for several hours Monday night.



Hundreds of protesters blocked the westbound side of the highway from 7th St. to Broadway. It’s in response to the officer-involved shooting of Jamar Clark.

Police say there was a struggle when they tried to arrest Clark early Sunday morning. Officers were responding to a report of a man assaulting a woman on Plymouth Avenue North. On the way to that call, police were notified that the suspect was interfering with paramedics. That’s when the struggle ensued and officers shot Clark.

Late Monday evening, a family member told WCCO Clark was taken off life support and passed away.

Protesters hit the highway shortly before 7 p.m, marching up to a halt near the Broadway Avenue exit. Google traffic data indicated cars were at a standstill down to the Lyndale Avenue exit.

Initially, police at the protest were routing traffic down the side of a hill onto East Lyndale Avenue North, but protesters eventually blocked those cars, too.

Authorities at the scene ordered protesters to disperse from the highway at about 8 p.m., and that they would be arrested if they didn’t comply.

Arrests began at around 9 p.m. Protesters were taken into police custody one-by-one, but enough remained to keep traffic blocked. Police say the 43 adults and 8 juveniles who were arrested will be charged with “pedestrian on freeway” and “unlawful assembly.”

After all protesters either left or were arrested, a heavy police presence stayed on the highway to make sure the area was safe. Traffic resumed shortly before 10 p.m.

The same group protested outside the Minneapolis Police Department’s 4th precinct Sunday night.

Over the weekend, people all across the world showed their support for the victims of the Paris terror attacks, but one social justice group appeared to be peeved that the horrific tragedy had taken over the news cycle.

Along with most Americans, “Black Lives Matter” supporters voiced views on the attacks via Twitter, yet instead of messages of love, the movement responded with a despicable “#F***Paris” tag, reports Breitbart.

As far as the video in the OP goes I don't see a whole lot wrong with it. college is when you start to get active as far as making change. It doesn't seem like anyone got hurt so good for the movement of that was the case.

If you are young and not a liberal you have no heart. If you are old and not conservative you have no brain. That said I'm 40 with a family now.

I chalk this up to youthful exuberance. If the "problem" resonates over the next 20-30 years hopefully they will remember this and hope to make change. If it's bullshit it will be forgotten.
