Look who finished 3rd, and then look who finished 4th. This was a WSOP event in 2006, and is still my best WSOP NL finish to date.

Stern was kind of uppity with me, until I mentioned to him that my dad was from Israel.

All of a sudden he was REALLY nice to me the rest of the time, and in fact when I went all-in short stacked, before he looked at his cards, he said to me, "I don't want to bust you. I hope I don't have to call you here", then looked and saw KQ and obviously called. I busted on that hand.

He came up to me as I was walking away and said, "It might sound strange, but I was actually hoping that you would win that all-in against me."

He sounded serious, too.

Anyway, I hope the Jew wins.

Also, in that same tournament, I busted Macon Marc, who finished 17th, in a SB/BB confrontation.

Micon had 50% of him and was pissed at me because I called with A5o in the BB versus Marc's T9o shove from the SB with a short stack.

Micon actually had the nerve to tell me that it was marginal and I didn't have to call. LOL
