I am guessing he will do about 2-2.5 of it. Maybe more because he already was convicted of selling pirated DVDs.

That was also likely a factor in his 5-year sentence. This isn't a guy who just screwed up once with a dumb idea. The DVD thing proves he has a pattern of counterfeiting.

I don't think 5 years is a harsh sentence. This guy did a lot of financial damage and affected a lot of people.

I would feel differently if someone was caught swiping another guy's chip stack when he wasn't looking. That also deserves punishment, but obviously 5 years would be excessive.

Here he was basically ruining the entire tournament with his actions, in attempt to enrich himself illegally.

I think they should have put the guy in a room with his hands tied behind his back and his legs tied together then let everyone who played in the tournament get one swing of a baseball bat at him.

This guy is a scummy waste of a life and 5 years don't seem too harsh at all, especially when we know he will probably get released in half that time.
