With stroman pitching well on a rested arm we are not losing against the Royals.
I still fear our bullpen a bit in a one run game but the same can be said for KC too.
I look forward to a matchup vs the Royals.
I look forward to that as well, first and foremost because it means we are in the ALCS. But also because I don't fear Toronto's pitchers front and back as much as the other AL contenders

Past two games we played our minor league team. Big dogs are back today and will be hungry to clinch the AL.

Jays for half a season. Great story though. Again, as I have tried to teach Druff, it's two different seasons. We have no idea how they will perform when every at bat matters. Not just the players but the manager. Think Mattingly and you see the risk.

Wonder how good ole TMMLGay is feeling as there is a giant choking sound erupting from Toronto. The odds are massively against Toronto. Bad enough that any team going down 0-2 has only come back 8 out of 72 times. It's even worse for teams losing first two at home.
So the Jays had a pitcher going who was almost 43 in the 14th (LaTroy Hawkins, born in the same year as me), and of course he gave up the winning 2 runs to Texas.
I don't care if he had good numbers this year. Dude is almost 43, and his career numbers are 4.31/1.406.
I realize it was late in the game, though, so there probably wasn't much choice.
All this talk about how the Jays were going to smack everyone down and win the World Series... now they basically need a miracle to advance to the ALCS.
