I like the first season of Altered Carbon which is a futuristic sci-fi thriller in which wealthy people can live forever.

FYI: Stubborn Netflix FINALLY listened to their customers and added the option to disable the extremely annoying autoplay while you are browsing.
Note that you need to log in from a web browser to toggle this function

Just watched The Pharmacist.
It's amazing how far back the opoid epidemic went back and how important one person was in the entire state and even country.
On a unrelated note, there might have been a reason as to why his son did drugs, but I wont get into that.
Just saw 'Marriage Story'. So good. Might need to add a trigger warning if you've been through a divorce.
Harlan Coben's "The Stranger" is at best an ok time filler while you're waiting for "Narcos" and "Saul". Richard Armitage was much better as an American in "Berlin Station". Coben must be making a bundle off the Brits.
Hi everyone. I see you have been watching Marriage Story.
Wanted to tell you a small tidbit of info I was given by one of my connections.
They had a difficult time at the beginning with Scarlett Johansson. Scarlet preferred a certain look for her character (the one you ultimately saw in the film), and Netflix had other ideas. Netflix felt that the look Scarlett wanted wasn't sexy enough, and was underutilizing her physical appeal to the audience. Scarlett insisted that this particular look was what she envisioned for the character, and wouldn't budge. At one point it looked like she might not be in the film, as she refused to sign the contract until this was decided upon.
Ultimately, Netflix backed down. After the excellent reception the film and Scarlett herself received, it looks like Scarlett was correct. You can search the internet and you won't find this story anywhere, but I assure you it's true.
Netflix has cancelled Insatiable, which means Druff will have to look elsewhere for gay sex dramas.
They were quite happy with Season 1 despite the controversy. Season 2 not so much. According to my sources, Netflix execs had the following probs with Season 2:
1. Gay scenes were too frequent, graphic, and over the top for their mainstream audience. Execs felt like it sometimes resembled gay porn.
2. Main character Patty became evil and unlikable as second season wore on. In the first season, she was mostly good but just a repeated victim of circumstance where she had to kill people in self defense or to be a hero. By the end of season 2, nobody was going to root for her.
3. Execs felt like there wasn't anything new to explore in a third season.
Ratings fell, too.
RIP
Don’t fuck with ‘don’t fuck with cats’
About a Canadian internet cat killer turned murderer... don’t remember hearing about it at the time.
Doc reminded of this site a lot. Not sure how you sick fucks weren’t all over this one at the time. Too focused on Elliot I suppose. Some similarities between the two cases.
id be shocked if this wasnt already mentioned but im totally fucking hooked on Surviving Escobar.
its Oz In Brazil Based On The Autobiography of Pablo Escobar's Number 1 Hit Man but its one 60 hour long season.
obviously lots of embellishments and laughable nonsense but by no means unenjoyable.
"Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness." - Alejandro Jodorowsky
"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs
I found Pablo Escobar's hitman "Popeye" fascinating.
He died from cancer but told a lot of interesting stories.
What happened to Pablo Escobar's Billions?
He made about $30 Billion (around $60 Billion today) up until he died.
It's hard to tell from these fake reality TV shows if they really found anything.

OH MY GOD DUDES DID U SEE THAT DOCUMENTARY ON NETFLIX IT TURNS OUT WEED IS HEALTHY BRO
I dont know if this was mentioned before, but he had whole youtube channel where he talked about everything from his escapades to politics.
From what I could see, the channel appears to be deleted now.
Still hard to believe that for the hundreds of people this guy killed, he only served 23 years and ultimately died from nothing more than cancer.
Edit: It looks like he was locked up again in 2018 for extortion and died while incarcerated.
About halfway through Season 2. Pretty good.
The only thing that sucks a little is the they took out all the female (or male if that is your thing) nudity, which I guess is just a sign of the times with the #metoo movement and all. In related news I suspect the new season of Westworld will also have little to no nudity, which you already saw in Season 2 they had ramped it down a lot from Season 1.
We are also watching the Rome series, which is pretty good, although as good as the old HBO Rome series IMO.
