Cheap Jew Trick for 2 free nights at any Hyatt in the World for $7.90

I'm leaning about manufacturing spending on credit cards and this is the easiest one to get started with. It's an easy deal without manufacturing spending but I wanted to try it.

The deal is only spend $1000 in 3 months and get 2 free nights. The yearly fee is waived first year. Can't have the card in the last 24 months. You can have Chase just not the Hyatt.

    https://creditcards.chase.com/credit...yatt-card.aspx

Here are the steps to manufacture $1000 in spending for $7.90:

    1. Apply for an Amex Blue Bird account. It's Amex prepaid for poor people at Walmart. Sign up online for free. The key is it has free bill pay and you can deposit money in the store with any debit card with a pin#. Gift cards now have pin#'s

Wait for both the BB card and Chase card in the mail

    2. Locate a Simon Mall. They are everywhere and I haven't had any issues with them. Once located find the service center usually in the middle of the mall. They sell Visa Gift Cards

    3. Use your new Chase Hyatt Card to purchase 2 $500 Visa Gift Cards. Each cost $3.95. Call the number on the back and setup a pin#. Takes about 2 minutes.

    4. Take both your NEW gift cards and BB card to Walmart. It's best if they have the automated machine. Follow the directions to deposit into your BB account using debit.
ALWAYS SAY NO TO CASH BACK. You can do this at the cash center but I've heard some cashiers see a gift card they will not let you deposit. What I do is have a real bank card in my hand. When they ask me to swipe the card I just use the GC. I always use the automated center but some Walmart's don't have them. A cashier transaction they should never have to touch your card. You do all the swiping.

    5. Once BB is loaded go to bill pay and pay of Chase.

BAM! In about 2 weeks the points register and 2 free nights at Hyatt. If you have a better half do the same and get 4 free nights. The Hyatt we like is about $450 per night so it's well worth it.

Another card is the Chase Marriott. If you sent $3000 in 3 months you get 80,000 points. There is a fee of $85 per year but the points can get you a top tier room that cost around $400 per night.

I'm working on finding the best deal for Airline miles and cash back cards.

The BB card has a max deposit of $1000 per day and $2000 per month. If you need more than that you can by Money Orders at Walmart up to $1000 for .70 with a gift card. I've tried it and it went smooth also.

The first time I bought VGC a guy in front of me bought $10k with 2 different cards. That is the max. I guess he has a good deal going.

Does the "free night" cover any applicable hotel/accommodation/visitor tax the hotel has to pass on to the local government?

I'm looking to book now so I'll ask. I'm sure I'll have to pay the tax.

You will not be responsible for taxes. Or at least I've never seen that before with an offer like this.

I just redeemed a similar offer at the Portland Embassy Suites Downtown (worth about $350/night), and I didn't pay a penny.

Are you sure that your trick with this card is going to work? They may consider it a "pseudo-cash" purchase and hit you with oppressive cash advance fees, thus negating your value.

Seems like a lot of work for someone like me, but since I already have the Amex Blue Bird card, I might just give it a shot.

A Hyatt is a mile from Mohegan Sun Casino and has a shuttle etc. So it would be nice for me to have this for the days I cant get free rooms.

What kind of restrictions apply? Weekends/Holidays allowed? How far in advance must you book room?

Let us know how your visit goes and If you have any issues etc. Thanks

I received No cash advanced fees have paid the balance off and my account w/ Hyatt shows 2 free nights.

I used 2 $500 gift cards from a Simon mall.

Why do you keep thinking it will be a cash advance? I'm buying from a store and not off the internet.

No restrictions any Hyatt in the world. Does your Walmart have "KATE" the automated machine?

Do you have a Simon Mall near by? These are the best cards. You have to have a GC with a pin. I've heard some cashiers at Walmart will not let you load BB with GC in some stores. I have never had an issue with BB or buying MO.

Do Not buy vanilla gift cards. I have read they do not work. Amex GC Do Not work.

I'm booking a room for December so it may be a while before I do it.

Huh? I stayed their before, never close to $350 a night. More like $129 a night. They got that weird ass breakfast room in the basement if memory serves me.
