This is an accurate recap Druff. Once you were off, he spun it into you and others accusing her of being in some evil brain trust and pocketing big money or involved in orchestrating it rather than simply what you said. She's a typical and demonstrable garden variety scumbag in the poker world that we've seen so many times.
I've been familiar with Limon for years. Generally entertaining, but he's a guy who throws out blanket accusations a lot, so his insistence on hard evidence like texts or emails outlining her guilt are disingenuous. I like him because he often tweaks the 2+2 echo chamber online cabal.
I was kind of shocked you weren't familiar to each other. Shocked almost to the point I questioned if it was a feigned unfamiliarity. I've always thought he does podcasts similar to Donkdown, except he's all 3 characters. He's got the funny local degen stuff down like Brandon, he gets off topic on nonsense and loses his point like a stoned Micon, and gets really irritated at a lot of the same scams you do.
On his show, the sum is less than the parts though because Brandon is much more entertaining, you make your arguments better and in greater detail, and Micon occasionally fell ass backwards into shit that ended up being surprisingly forward thinking.
Once you hung up, I thought to myself that he may dodge your call. I think the show was designed to rehabilitate her image. You were nailing her, she was blowing up his texts, and I think he saw that he couldn't even attempt that with you on. He lives to talk a lot. You would have kept poking holes in his hand waving attempts, and reality is, at the end of the day LATB doesn't want to fire the girl with the big tits who has some personality. That's not a win for them. Since Bart and Dave left, the other poker commentators are straight sleep aids that are impossible to listen to.
He acknowledged that some of the things she did raise red flags, but said it's not conclusive to label her a scumbag. He also talked a lot about how her continued involvement at LatB is dependent on having an audience, so if you have a problem with it vote with your feet.Weak. First time I've watched Limon on stream, but it's pretty similar to his online persona. Sometimes he makes very convincing arguments, usually he is stubborn with his opinions, and always he is a bit hostile in wording them.
