There's nothing terribly surprising in this video, but it's a funny stunt. I wonder what the legal risks are for doing this sort of thing.

I agree that Sheldon Adelson's "protect the children" from internet gambling argument is ridiculous and politically convenient.
I'm not convinced that he is attacking online poker for financial reasons (as he could gain from it, as well), but for whatever reason, he doesn't like online gambling, and wants to do or say anything to defeat it.
So that's really shitty, and I think 100% of the people on this forum can agree upon that.
With that said, this video is kinda lame.
First off, the "underage" people he filmed playing at Venetian were 19. Adelson wasn't talking about protecting 19-year-olds from the dangers of gambling online -- he was talking about actual kids. 19 is underage as far as gambling or drinking in the US, but isn't considered a minor, so that's a flimsy premise to start with. If you want to prove that the Venetian is a threat to kids, show a 15-year-old playing there (which probably could be done with one who looks old enough).
Regarding the prostitution... yes, there are hookers in Venetian, but it's a tough thing to stop. Venetian can kick them out and read them the trespass act, but then there are a bunch of new prostitutes showing up the next day. Venetian doesn't want hookers hanging out in the bars. It makes customers feel uncomfortable, because many of them are approached who do not want to be approached (as I have been countless times late at night in Vegas casinos).
Anyway, bottom line is that Adelson sucks regarding his stance with online poker, but this video is kinda garbage.
Can't believe Sheldon passed up this offer.
He could rape a two year old and get away with it. That's what 20 billion does.
*hypocrisy (whoops)
I don't know who Tim James is or what his motivation for creating this new "documentary" about online poker's biggest nemesis is, but it's not a half-bad use of 9 minutes for this community...
Did anyone else notice that Sheldon sounds like Donald Trump sometimes?
Fuck him.
