Facebook P2P money transfer now available

Facebook has rolled out a product in the United States that allows users to transfer money to each other via Facebook message. Your Facebook Messenger account is linked to a debit card. It’s an interesting premise and amazingly well executed. I haven’t seen a better implementation of person-to-person money transfer.

Wonder if this guy ever knew about the millions that was shuffled around on poker sites.

This might end badly, btw, if they can't secure their shit.

I can see a whole lot of problems with this. All I know is I don't want to give them fuckers at FB any more private information then I have to and this really opens the door encouraging hackers to find ways to steal tons of info.

I've had this option for awhile on Facebook. Obviously I never funded it or gave them any of my banking info.

Not to mention card numbers. Internet commerce not nearly as safe as it used to be. The more someone is exposed financially online, the higher risk they can get tapped.
