Surprisingly the Cubs owned the longest no no-hit streak in the majors. 7931 games without being the victims of a no hitter, that was until today. Hamels, in what could be his last outing as a Phillie, threw a no hitter at Wrigley. Last time a pitcher threw a no hitter vs the Cubs was in 1965, and it was none other than Sandy Koufax.
