Three jockeys, who apparently used electrical buzzers in some races to make their horse run faster and in other races tugged hard on the reins to make their horses run poorly, were busted in Louisiana. There have always been these kind of scandals in horse racing but the decline in income for people in this industry will only make these scams more tempting, in some ways similar to what is going on in poker. http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/e...ixing-charges/

I'm not a big fan and basicly only play exactas but its outdoors so I can smoke a macanudo cigar and sip on a couple of dewars.
It's so fucken crooked. When the horse is in the lead the jockey pulls back on the reighns and ends up in 4th. The horse in the back has the jockey whiping him and he comes in first.. Every race is like that. Right in front of you. It's all a fassad..
The whole industry is crooked so this isn't any surprise since they throw races from time to time trying not to be so obvious about it and even the jockeys will bet for another horse in the race. If people think what Pete Rose did in baseball is bad this is way more shady.
