Please Welcome Our Newest Members: 'Tommy' & 'Spuds'

Just adopted 'Tommy' from a fellow grinder here in Baja, and also taking in 'Spuds' who is (was) a street doggie that started hanging around my building the last few weeks.

Poor Spuds had a bunch of ticks and was skin and bones when he showed up around here out of the blue...I took him to the vet for a medicinal bath, and my neighbor and I have been giving him water and food....but I couldn't quite commit to taking him in until today.

Tommy is only 8-10 weeks old... very mellow, smart and loving....I had Spuds all day today (been on the fence adopting him) before I was approached this afternoon to adopt Tommy. They were instantly friends.

I'm keeping them both. They are buddies already...hijacked my couch taking a nice nap now. I think it will be great for Tommy to have a big brother

Tommy was a little nervous at first when he got here (naturally) , but it only took him 30 minutes or so before he was running around my place wagging his tail and playing with Spuds.

So glad I decided to pull the trigger on this. Obviously adopting a new pet is a huge commitment, and I take it very seriously

Been putting off getting another dog since Winnie died for my own reasons, but probably because I needed more time. The last 4 months have been really rough for me without her around.

Anyway, I'll have some more pictures in the next few days, but these are the newest members of the family.

I'm thinking Spuds may be part Staffordshire Terrier or some kind of Pitbull mix

maybe even some Dalmatian.

He does seem part Dalmatian and a majority of Dalmatians are deaf (thus why they always ended up in fire houses).

Anyway - thought you might want to know.
