My buddy (lets call him Stan) is staying in Delray Beach for a few weeks and invited me down for a couple days of drinking and sun. My wife is out of the country for 2 weeks so I said what the hell. The first 2 days were a blur of Mojitos, Rum Runners and Vodka. Hit the beach and bars for some very nice views of both ocean and ass.
On night 3 after a full day of booze we find out we can Uber to Hard Rock 40 minutes away. We hit the cage for some loot and then the BJ table. Goes pretty well and leave at 5am about 3K up (me 2K).
Night 4 continued the bar crawl
Night 5 We find out that Coconut Creek is only 20 minutes away. We hit the road again without even going to the safe at the hotel. It's faster just to hit the cage and gamble on. Neither of us had played baccarat so we find the quarter table to lean. Obviously, it's an easy game but break even and Stan wants to hit the BJ table again.
The FUN begins. Stan isn't a big gambler and the only thing he really knows about BJ is the next card is suppose to be a 10. This casino also has the gimmick bet of match the dealer. If either of you cards match the dealer you win 4x if its exact suit it's 10X. The first hour isn't very fun but about even. Stan has blown around 3K and I throw him another $500 to keep playing. He bets it all the first hand and wins he continues to bet $200 to $500 on 2 spots winning almost ever hand. He quickly gets his 3K back and starts playing the dealer match for $100. He is hitting ever other hand for 10X. I'm still playing $100 to $300 a hand and just chugging along. The next hour Stan's betting $1000 to $2000 and $100 on 2 spots. Amazingly after a brief break we count it up and have about 30K.
The table kinda goes south so we decide if we lose the next hand we will leave. Stan plays 2 hands at 2K has to double on one I'm playing $500 on two spots and we lose them all. DONE... hit the cashier for out 23K and then find the host for a limo back to Delray. Miss my flight re-book for next day.
I call early to upgrade to first class the and lady says something is wrong with their system but she's sure I can upgrade at the airport. Try the express check in and they advise I have to see an agent. The agent says I was double booked 1 seat in first class 1 in coach. I explain I called and upgraded and WIN again FREE First Class ticket!!! Nice win for going on a trip not to gamble.
