    EDC Live

    https://screen.yahoo.com/live/event/edc-1

I got a VIP tour last year, back stage and all, it was easily the most impressive production I have ever seen. Not into house, but can really appreciate this for what it is and the massive amount of effort it takes to make something like this happen. Truly incredible.

130k people per show 3 nights in a row.

    Is this really live?

    So many camera angles.

What % of the audience there is over 40? Have to think it's very low.

Ok so 130K people per show. But how many Asians? If there are 130K people I would bet that there are an additional 200K Asians there too.

Taxi driver in Vegas tried to sell me a ticket to this.

I never heard of it before, but apparently it was all the rage while I was there, possibly even more than the WSOP. Sounded like a drug induced crazy rave on a scale of like 100x.

Bucket list (if nothing more) type of fun.

    Your point?

This isn't a Grateful Dead reunion show.

It was live, yes. Should be again tonight.

Over 40 crowd is probably less than 1%. Mostly molly'd out 20 somethings. It is the most peaceful thing in terms of violence, that you will ever see with a crowd that size.

its lollapalooza marketed towards a younger, edm oriented generation. i wish i liked the music. or respected the music. or the djs. or the audience.

they literally hired bryan cranston to do his walter white act on stage.

which is ironic considering how many people in the audience were fucked out on meth.

I respect the drugs they have there. And the half naked women, willing to fuck for some molly. Also the twinks trying to "network".

Think its unique and deprave to have a concert into the night.

Would love to know what it cost to get him to do that.

    Couldn't of been too cheap.

if you knew how much these clowns of ass get paid to stand there and push buttons, youd understand how much cash is available for lunacy such as this.

    thanks for opening the thread...

interesting watching the live stream...and the instruments/sounds are new/different (to me at least), but the music is too dance beat/samba repetitive for me to just listen to for more than a few minutes (i'd need a dance floor and a partner to enjoy this) so i also can't find value in this

still, a lot of folks look like they are having fun (even though they can do little other than bounce to it)
(long before there was a PFA i had my Grenade & Crossbones avatar at DD)
