After searching a lot this seems to be a decent authority. Doesn't give you one in particular that is the best, but will probably help you make a decision.

Just curious, why a Cali King?

That's longer but narrower than a regular king

I'm 6'2" and a regular king is long enough for me.

I think you need to be 6'4 to really need the length of a Cali King.

    Cool

If you have slept well at Aria then buy their beds. Hotel mattresses are awesome.

Honestly? Habit. It's worked for me forever and I just never really saw the need to improve on it.

I went through the same process last year and ended up buying this one.

Extremely happy with it and saved a lot compared with a retail Tempurpedic .

For sure have to invest good money on your bed. Most likely you spend half of your life in it so it's a solid investment. But from my experience I changed every 3 years.

    Not allowed in most countries.

That link from Vegas.....at first glance I thought I saw, www.steelspikedead.com, (tom looking up that domain name as we speak) which when you think of it you're shelling out big bucks for something you won't enjoy because you're dead to the the world, figuratively.

WTF Vegas? Here is an idea, go out to a couple stores, lay down on a couple high end mattresses and make your decision. FFS, this is not a difficult decision. You have dragged this out long enough. Go to a couple stores, lie down on the upper end shit and make your decision. Two days later its delivered and its over.

Return rates between sampling/buying in person as opposed to not testing and buying online are the same. Going to stores and testing out mattresses is basically a complete waste of time. Research is the key here.

That said, not dragging out anything, I haven't been bumping the thread, others have. Much like your hurricane threads, it's a serious biz topic obv.

Personally I've been so damn busy, and will continue to be, that this is something that is probably going to take some time for me to finalize. I'm actually very happy to see people continually bumping this thread and talking about it, it's a big help with eventually making a decision without doing much more leg work on my own. I trust a lot of peoples judgement here.

What are you sleeping on Tony?

I sleep on a very high end Sealy. Among the best they serve. Now let me be clear, jewdonk has infested this thread like a diseased roach so I am going to disengage.

I wish you well Vegas in your mattress search.
