generally, there is no requirement to carry id anywhere in the US if you are not driving an automobile or travelling on an airplane, thus you would have nothing to show a law enforcement office that asks to see your id...

this incident I believe happened in Oakland County, Michigan...Michigan allows for open carry of firearms except in courthouses, near correctional facilities or in specified gun-free zones (schools, hospitals etc)...i don't know, nor can i find anything that says when you open carry in Michigan that you must have ID on you


anyway, as a gun owner, i hate people like this film-maker---they give gun owners a bad name by making gun owners look like trouble making 2nd amendment zealots

I can tell you exactly that you cannot open or concealed carry near prisons, court houses, schools or other gun free zones in Oakland County. For open carry, I don't believe that you have to carry ID but concealed carry you do. There were comments on the video that alluded to him being an idiot for even carrying ID in the first place, which if the cop found nothing on him, would look like an ass when he came up empty handed. What is inexcusable here is that he went off the pavement and sauntered onto the prison grounds figuring that's just totally ok. It's totally not.

This is the same guy that walked around Madison Heights with a rifle on his back and got chased all around the city.. oddly enough, the same cop was in that video as well.

TBH the way I want to be governed is in the most libertarian sense. How I would govern if I had the keys to the Corvette would look totalitarianly different.

I would say no, but I would also note that the cop in the previous vid was a Madison Hts blue and now he's a Oakland Cty. brown. He may have been moved because of the previous incident. Same County though. My guess would have to be that a dick is a dick and he couldn't wait to go back for seconds with this guy.

Ive noticed these losers post these videos before and it just ends up creating a backlash for them cause even fanatical gun lovers think they're fucking idiots. What a waste of police resources to have to deal with these fucktards.
