The exact price for the six-bedroom pad at the unfinished One57 building opposite Carnegie Hall was not disclosed, but the developer told the New York Times it surpassed the $88 million Russian magnate Dmitri Rybolovlev paid at 15 Central Park West.

Central Park stretches out beneath floor-to-ceiling windows of the 10,923-square-foot duplex penthouse on the 89th and 90th floors like a front lawn.

I wonder what the HOA fee is.

All I can say is damn. If the agent gets a 5% commission(I think that's standard), that's $4.4 million. I'd retire after that sale. I'd also hate to see how badly the city of New York would ass rape you on property taxes.

Pretty sure taxes mean little to a person who can afford a place like that. In fact I doubt the owner ever sees where his money is really going, just kind of points and says "i want THAT" and then a small army of lawyers and what not gets to work.
