We haven't had a Triple Crown winner since 1978 Affirmed. American Pharaohs father (Pioneer of the Nile) had the derby won leading by 5lengths coming for home only to be noesed at the wire. A few short years later his son whos breeding rights have already been sold for $20,000,000 has a great chance. American Pharaohs going up against a bunch of fresh horses we have seen a few horses pull off the first two races of the Triple Crown and not be able to close the deal at the Belmont.

Big Brown and Fusaichi Pegasus had Bryce Harper style hype but American Pharoah is flying under the radar. So I would expect he wins the triple crown and has movies made about him for years despite not being culturally significant.
AP's furlong times are ahead of every other horses. If his handlers treat him well he really can beat the field. He is probably one of the only horses who many people want to see fail, that actually does not.
I would be betting for leverage, at least, on AP!

He is clearly a top 3 horse in that field. Leverage tri fectas with the, American Pharoe......
