I probably couldn't play very often but I'd be in.

I think it would be a big headache & we'd have to give massive props to whoever took on the responsibility of running it.

Seems like a good idea. I'd play depending on the date/time.

I would prefer something along the lines of a $20/month league

10-20 people squaring up for $5 a pop every week would be a hassle, that's a lot of envelopes

I think something along the lines of a $50 league buy-in for 16 consecutive weeks. You get points for each finish & @ the end of the year you take your 8 best finishes to get your final score.

For the guys that can commit to all 16 weeks it gives them an advantage but not insurmountable. Depending on how many participants, decide the payouts & award them @ the end of the league or do a heads-up bracket with the top 8 to determine a winner that way.

I agree it would be a logistical nightmare trying to settle up each week.

$50 buy in might be to high for some people, and will cut down on participants.
Also to all the people that might want to gamble here with other members, you should get a Netspend card. Much better than Paypal, and you can order one for free.

I was going to say $20 but then others would say it wasn't worth their while. It's just for fun so any amount would be fine.

$20 sounds good to me. How long should it last?
What night is best for most people?

We should do $25 Have 4 $5 tourneys. The other $5 is kept for the top 5 in the points standings, to play for the championship.

So the top 5 point leaders would play for the extra $5(from all participants) in the prize pool?

    That works for me.
When shall this shindig start? Hopefully we get a decent amount of players.
This should not be NLHE every week, and we need to set a minimum number of players.

you are still settling up every week, and at the end of the month

i think a monthly competition would be a lot more efficient

top 3 get paid, or whatever depending upon number of runners
