In this case, his website caused probably of dozens of overdoses and deaths. If you commit a felony and people die because of that felony, you are likely going to face life in jail.

Because its not sustainable. You just can't hole up in Antigua as an American for the next 50 years unless you want to live like a rat. You are going to have to pay the government plenty of $$ for using their services (schooling, police, fire, hospitals, etc...) And speaking of hospitals, what about health insurance for a young family in a third world country? There is health insurance for those that pay, and the rest wait in long lines.

There is also the social element as well. If your only real interaction with people you like is Skype and email, things are going to go south real quickly. Holidays are going to be almost tormenting, as will the inevitable funerals you have to miss.

I am not saying living on Antigua is jail, but its something between jail and freedom. That is why he will come back and face the charges.

Semantics. I don't agree with your response but I appreciate it. I don't agree that he will get on a plane without a plea for no prison put in place. I don't agree that antigua isn't sustainable.
