So here's the story. On a side note I didn't know drexel smoked weed.

I leave my house at 7:30 to take the bus to Wynn. It was my first time taking the bus by myself in awhile, but it wasn't so bad

I was planning to meet up with a friend to blaze and then go play at Venetian with the intention of going back to Wynn later to enjoy my chocolate milk while I played for a few hours.

So I waited patiently for 20 minutes after he said he'd be there in 5. I called twice, but he didn't pick up so I just started walking to Venetian. He calls me as I get over the Palazzo bridge saying he's at Wynn registration so we met up and decided to go smoke on the top of Venetian parking garage. The elevator only goes to the 10th floor, but when we walked into the stairwell there was a key card locked gate to the roof access. We were just going to blaze there, (why not right?) but as soon as my friend handed me the J, one of the managers and 2 EMT trainees walked in.

Manager says "What are you doing in here?"

I responded with "Are we not allowed to be in here" Then he asks for no reason "Are you doing a drug deal?"

The weed was never lit, but the manager says "I smell weed," puts handcuffs on my friend and says "If you have anything tell me now because we will find it. Put her in handcuffs too." and the EMT puts me in handcuffs. I said I had a joint, told the truth, and I really think that definitely helped my situation because I had nothing else on me and no priors.

We both get walked to security where my bag and I were searched on camera with audio.

They called metro and ran my ID, when metro got there it was one male officer.

Now, I'm pretty sure only a female officer is allowed to search me, but this officer was like "I'm gonna search you now".

For what reason is he searching me again? I had been in handcuffs for 2 hours at that point, and had already been searched. He patted me down, then put his hand in my pocket but when he went to pat my chest I told him not to touch my chest because there was no way he was allowed. He asked why and I said because he was a man, at which point he responds with "Why does that bother you?" I said "because I'm a girl and I don't know you." So he just let me sit back down.

For the next half hour after that I was praying that I could just go play poker. I felt like it was pretty surreal, I mean honestly it's a shame that I was in handcuffs for pot. I told the Universe that I wouldn't even drink 1 beer all night if I got to leave with my dignity still intact.

Finally the officer said he wasn't going to write me up for the weed, but if I am ever caught on their property then I'll immediately be arrested. I signed my warning ticket, then he gave me the pink slip. Three of the security walked me off the property, and I went straight to Wynn.



Got to Wynn around 11:30, and sat down at the 1/3. I feel like I played solid, I took notes on some hands during my session. I played until 4:30ish I think. Talked about a few hands with my friend and his friend (JJvsQQ guy) then went home.

Made it $10 with 55 UTG, mp &sb call, bb folds. Flop comes 467xxd, sb bets $10 and I raise it to $20 (thinking I should have made it closer to $30.) He calls. Turn is 8d, he bets $20, I raise to$40, he says raise and I just put all my chips in and flip, he slow rolls 45 for a chop.

Same guy busts me JJ<QQ.
He makes it $20 on the button, I flat in bb. Flop is like 762 or something, I bet like $25 and he puts me all in for like $80 more and I call putting him on 8s-Ts, or over cards and his range on the button was pretty wide playing like 6/7 handed.

I limp after UTG with 77, w/mp&sb, bb checks. Comes K88ddx, it checks to me I bet 8 and UTG calls. He check calls $11 on 9x turn (could probably bet more here?) then cc blank on river and I was good, guy said he was on a flush and missed.

I limp w/AhTd UTG+1 hj limps, bb checks. Flop comes AJ4hhx. bb bets 10, I raise to 20 hj folds and bb calls. We both check the heart on the turn, and river comes Qh. He checks, I bet $25 and he open folds J4, I show for top pair and back door flush to make him feel better 

I only played one buy in, and I feel like I'm gonna try to study double time and maybe play online more this next week until WSOP.

As a side note, pretty sure I'm just playing at Wynn when I do play live. Don't like any of the other rooms anywhere near as much as I like Wynn.

It also amazes me that folks who desire to smoke weed outside, aren't vaping it (which is what I do and no one ever notices...even inside the casino when I've done so). Smoking a joint is so dumb: they wreak of pot, it looks different when one is smoking it rather than a cigarette, AND the stench stays on one's body after.

When I played last years milly maker, this one guy came back from the break smelling like a god damned rap concert. Be discreet and vigilant, people!

In all my years here I have never once seen a security guard put someone in cuffs. I wasn't even aware that was legal.

A couple years ago a friend of mine, along with an attorney friend we know, lit up a joint in the Venetian garage right by my truck. I did not partake, instead I told him he was nuts, but he's a N Cali guy that has a very different perception as to how security guards at a casino view weed. He seems to think everyone throughout the country sees it the same as people from his area. Anyway, we were still waiting for another friend of ours to meet us out there as he had stopped by the bathroom while we were walking out... Within 5 minutes we had 2 Armenian security guards all over us. Now, while they were total pricks about it (understandably so IMO), they first insisted he put it out, which of course he did... They then asked if we were staying at the hotel, which we said no to (even though the attorney was), then they asked for ID, which my friend replied "sorry, none of us have any ID". Then one of the security guards goes to the back of my truck and starts taking down my plate number... I gave him shit about it, but nonetheless, he paid me no mind. They then told us "we suggest you get the fuck out here", which of course we did, well at least kind of. Problem was my other friend still hadn't met up with us yet. So we drove around the same floor until he came out, passing the security guards once again, who of course both gave us the Armenian evil eye.

No cuffs though.

Big problem was next night I had reservations to take my girlfriend to Aquaknox (restaurant in the Venetian) for her birthday, and at the time she was very much against weed, so I couldn't really tell her what had happened. We had been talking about going there for a while, so there was really no getting out of it either. Admittedly I was a little nervous about this. We ended up taking her car instead of my truck and luckily nothing came of it.

I used to blaze as much as anyone, but for God's sake, keep it on the down low when you are in Nevada. The state's and the casinos' rather stern attitude towards recreational drug use is belied by the "what goes on in Vegas..." perception of many. As Governor Terminator once said:
