Staying at the Rio for a month can get expensive. No microwave in the room. I really don't want to walk through the Rio carrying a wave under my arm. Lol. What creative cooking idea's can you come up with using a coffeemaker and a iron?

Christ man, just buy a small microwave. They're cheap as shit! Have it brought up to your room boxed up with your luggage, doubt anyone would care.

I've heard that you can cook rice in coffee makers.
With an iron, wrap something up in aluminum foil (like a sandwich) and you're good to go.
like ss said, rice, oatmeal, mac n cheese, ramen can be made with a coffee maker
clothes iron is a poor man's pannini press
the best places to eat for cheap are the deli by the sportsbook (they actually have some pretty decent ny style pizza by the slice), or burger king in the second level by chippendales
i almost never paid for food from the sportsbook deli. if you're gambling, your comps will cover most.
also the food court at the palms is not far away and is pretty good. chronic tacos, good sandwiches (forgot what they are called, mike's deli?), and mickey d's
edit:
jersey mike's

That BK is a pretty far trek from the convention center. They make decent burgers at the aforementioned sportsbook deli.
ITT: Willie bragging about playing @ the wsop is getting worse than Druff mentioning his bracelet.
Halogen oven would be ideal as they are portable, cheap, and much healthier than a microwave.

a mexican street taco cart?
it would print money
fuck all american dave and his anti-american monopoly
I love this idea, but the Rio actually banned Dave from doing his thing for a while. Something about vendors fees, even though he was just delivering. The next year he had his own space in that smoking section, so I suppose he paid up.
Considering the outrageous cost of booths, A/V and whatnot over there I can only imagine what that cost him.
