Harrah's New Orleans - Parking?

Does anyone know what the parking situation is at Harrah's New Orleans? By that I mean can I park in their parking structure for free with my Diamond players card, or do I need to clock X amount of hours in the poker room to get free parking.

Yes, I know that the Caesars properties in Las Vegas offer free parking as part of Diamond status, but New Orleans is different -- only one casino and everywhere in the city will charge $30 and up per day for parking, so people like me with a players card will try to park there during their stay for free. Looking to hear from anyone who's parked at Harrah's New Orleans recently. Thanks.

When I was last there in 2015, parking was free for Diamond members, with no play requirement.

Free for platinum+, for gold they require 30 minutes of play. Poker, table games, penny slots, anything as long as it's 30 minutes. Not sure if you need to swipe at the kiosk if you don't play.

When I was there last they asked for players card and ID when leaving so have that ready. I guess they had a problem with people using friends' cards for the free city parking.

If you're diamond u can valet or use garage for free. Last time I was there they got got rid of the gate attendants and now you need to scan your ticket at the kiosk by the elevators before you go up to your car.
