Tony Rodio, who is close to largest shareholder Carl Icahn, has taken over for former CEO Mark Frissora.

Rodio's experience mainly comes from Atlantic City. He has worked for Harrah's before.
Frissora was given credit for helping get Caesars out of its bankruptcy, but was said to lack experience in managing a large gaming company, and this became a glaring weakness post-bankruptcy. Icahn wanted him out.

I was still there when he got hired...I don't want to say I was scared shitless because I knew I wasn't long for working in that shithole for much longer, but when I did a cursory read of his prior gigs and saw that there were 'accounting improprieties' in his past that was a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE red flag for me...last thing you want to see in this day in age is any C-level guy/gal have accounting shenanigans in their past...
